NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — A Columbia University senior filed a lawsuit against the school Thursday, claiming that the university failed to protect him from harassment amid claims that he had raped a fellow student.
The lawsuit was filed Thursday in Manhattan U.S. District Court by Paul Nungesser. The German citizen said the student’s campaign to muddy his name by dragging a mattress around campus and demonstrating has isolated him and hurt his job prospects and ability to stay in America.

This guy’s mistake was not filing countercharges against the female student for having sex with him when he was too drunk to consent. If Vassar College had expelled him without expelling her, then he would have had a really great case, except perhaos in the bizzaro world of uber liberal Judges.

It seems to me, in a bassackwards way...this could eventually lead to a very different end....back to very careful dating especially by guys, instead of the hookups of today...but maybe I’m just dreaming
I agree with you. My point was that the definition of rape is coming to mean “whenever she decides it is”.
