Same with my wife, myself, and our infant son. All three of us in there at the same time. Never did anything. Shared a tent with other guys, never once got involved in sodomy. The MSM and their understanding is so bizarre, they really do have mental disorder(s).

Extreme violence in movies is not something I enjoy. It’s one thing to read a scene of gory dismemberment, and something else to see it.

Yeah, and Betsy Ross was a whore with a lesbian lover.

When they asked her to sew the flag, she was highly offended.

She thought they said “fag”.

The Dutch connection is interesting. There's a community of "Indians" on the NY-NJ border who are all black but have Dutch surnames--I'm reminded of a line from Blazing Saddles--blushing brides from the Netherlands were in short supply in those early Dutch settlements.

If I remember correctly (I'm recalling the pamphlet from 20+ years ago), the author devoted much ink to Lincoln but really went to town on Harding. In every instance, the "evidence" came from detractors, political enemies, and hostile journalists.

The last chapter in the book is very cryptic as it contains references to a then living president. I assumed at the time it was LBJ he was alluding to. The author died in the 1960s.

Most people did pile into bed together. In those times it had nothing to do with sex but a serious lack of accommodations, when traveling, back when there was no such thing as Holiday Inn. Not to mention it was warmer that way, though bedbugs were common. Another item frequently kept tucked under the bed was a thundermug- a bedpan for use to avoid the cold outdoors. Imagine multiple strangers using that, too.

Beds were valuable items, in wills often passed on to heirs, especially those with mattresses stuffed with feathers rather than the more common sweet bedstraw, a fragrant herb that cleaves to itself, or the poorest - plain old straw. The beds were made of wood frames with rope strung through in a gridlike pattern to support the matress- which was just a big sack. The straw filled ones were emptied out and the stuffing burned from time to time to get rid of bugs. The ropes would of course stretch when weight was on them, and if there had been more than one guest weighing the thing down overnight, it might get very slack. The next day you would have to pull out a handy wood gadget kept at the foot of the bed and insert it in the ropes and give it a good twist to tighten them back up... Hence the phrase “Sleep tight, don’t let the bedbugs bite.”

Washington had been in love with another lady before Martha, who was married, but he never acted on it.
...
Latter in life, when she lived in England,

Washington, too, confesses to Sally in a letter that she was the passion of his youth and told her that he had: “never been able to eradicate from my mind those happy moments, the happiest in my life, which I have enjoyed in your company.”

"So did everyone else in that time frame."

Exactly.

Read Moby Dick. There's a hilarious passage about how Ishmael didn't want to share a bed with Queequeg.

Not because of any gay shenanigans, but he thought Queequeg was kind of a weirdo. Tattooed and all.

Brits still smarting over the Revolutionary War, I see.

More of a case of the Brits still finding amusement in observing The Domestic Manners of the Americans.

Larry Kramer, 79, is an HIV positive American writer

This is why I despise Kramer.

he's just a $hit-stirring LIAR.

AIDS was first documented in 1981, when 20-some men were found to have died from some unknown-cause, soon called GRID. That's GAY-related immune disorder (or disease).

It was pretty obvious in the gay community and to scientists at the time, that male to male sex HAD to be a contributing cause.

It took years to finally nail down the HIV virus.

Despite the fact that it was known that gay sex passes it on, what did the homosexual community do during the early years of the crisis?

Keep on having anonymous bathhouse sex.

When an instant cure wasn't found, gays started blaming...REAGAN.

As if gays would actually follow the advice laid out by Dr. Koop and stop having unprotected sex.

No sir, not good enough, Reagan is to blame.

And what a monster, "Reagan" has allowed HIV-positive Kramer to live with his disease for 35 years.

Either Kramer is lying about having HIV since 1980,or he's very lucky.

My guess is that Kramer's entire life has been a sad, useless, pathetic lie.

Inns in those days would often place two or three travelers to a bed because of lack of space. There wasn’t any secret about it.

In the early eighties it became apparent to anybody with half a brain that male homos were at the highest risk for AIDs. David Horowitz, who was living in SF at the time , remembers discovering from various sources that simply using condoms would prevent the great majority of AIDs deaths.

So Horowitz, who was still more of a liberal than a conservative at that time, and a friend of the SF homo community decided to give a speech to a number of the self-described homo leaders of SF and other assorted homos.

Horowitz sincerely thought breaking the news to the homos that using condoms would all but stop the disease in its tracks would be greeted with cheers and applause.

He was wrong. After the speech no one clapped. Horowitz was stunned. What was the problem? It turned out most of the assembled homos were upset that they would have to use condoms. They wanted an immediate cure so they could go on having condom-less anal penetration.

After that Horowitz had little sympathy for all the homos who railed about deaths from AIDs and blamed Reagan.

I have little or no sympathy myself. If a person insists on smoking five packs of cigarettes a day after fifty years of being told about cigarettes and lung cancer, why should anyone feel sorry for people who literally smoke their lungs out?

That happened a lot back then, but not because they were homos.

My cousins had three bedrooms, boys, girls, parents. Seven kids and my sister and I slept over. Was I gay sleeping with all those other boys?
