repugn; verb
verb (used with object) 1. to oppose or refute. verb (used without object) 2. Archaic. to resist.
Etymology: 1325-1375 1325-75; Middle English repugnen < Middle French repugner < Latin repugnāre to resist, equivalent to re- re- + pugnāre to fight
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

Republican candidates have to do more than repugn Hillary; they must give reasons to vote FOR them and not just AGAINST her.

I walked out to the corner (ie the end of my driveway) to visit with a neighbor couple, when another neighbor walked up and said she can’t wait to vote for Hillary. I practically shouted...YOU CAME TO THE REPUBLICAN CORNER TO TALK ABOUT VOTING FOR HILLARY? They laughed and changed the subject. I am going to puke before this coronation of Hillary is finished...NY state is nuts.

Unless your MIL lives in one of the swing states, it really isn’t worth arguing about. Nevertheless, the Twitter hashtag #HillarysAccomplishments has a nice list, all negative, with which to repugn her arguments, on the off-chance she has any.
