Nifongism is about settling scores and seeing to it that cases are ‘solved’ and that they get a ‘win’.
There are numerous instances in American history of piling on other unsolved cases in a ‘plea bargain’ arrangement to get them resolved and off the books.
Much of law enforcement is about paperwork, not justice.

You know, you can make this kind of stuff as partisan as you want to, but the fact is, it wouldn't fly in an organization that was not already corrupt to its very core. It was the pre-existing corruption that Clinton was able to take advantage of. He didn't introduce anything new into the mix.
The U.S. government is much more corrupt at every level than the vast majority of Americans are comfortable with even contemplating..
