I’m not perfect, but I’m sincerely disappointed in the level of education of our youth, particularly those who “publish” articles who are incapable of determining the correct spelling of simple words.

When I was living in CA in the eighties, the LA Times had an article about date rape at UCLA and USC, saying that it was epidemic and that 90% of it was involved Middle Eastern men and White young women. They were warning female students that it was cultural, that Muslim men do not respect White women and think that they are asking for it.

I can understand a mistake considering transcription, but I see all too many such simple mistakes these days in articles all over our so called “media”, and it is disheartening.
How many articles I posted today is beside my point, and actually brings to light another issue I’ve had to deal with lately with being unable to stand up and admit an error without having to attempt a “sidetracking” of the point at hand with an accusation or “counter” that attempts to “throw mud” at another in order to take the “sting” out of the fact that such an error was made in the first place.
My apologies for bringing such an insignificant issue to light. I have to deal with this on a daily basis and it just struck a nerve.

I thought the spelling looked incorrect, but the flick of my wrist hit send too quickly because I was trying to get this posted before bedtime. 100% my mistake. Don’t assume that I’m ignorant or that I’m a jerk for a spelling error. I bring up the question of how many articles you posted, not to deflect blame from myself towards you, but to imply the time I spent finding, copying and pasting articles is a more constructive way of enriching FR’s content than mocking others’ lexographical errors.

It started much earlier, because when I was at UCBerkeley in the mid-60’s, UCLA (where a lady friend of mine was attending) decided to make student high-rise dorms “coed.” First it was m-f-m-f floors, but it ultimately went both sexes on the same floor, creating an “atmosphere” where rape was abetted simply by proximity (now fancy that).
Personally, since these muzzie cretins believe in an eye for an eye, I’d be for some “summary castrations” as punishment. Nothing dampens one’s “enthusiasm” for raping women like having your balls cut off!
