Please pray for my son. He is suffering terribly from bipolar disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder, in a state of torment and fear. He is a deeply religious young man, and he believes he is possessed in some way - which I do not see in him at all. Yet he may be under attack from the outside.
Please pray for his deliverance from the ills of mind and spirit, from protection against any evil spirits that might assail him. Pray that his psychiatrist and his priests may be guided to help him.
We are in no danger from him - he is suffering so much and trying so hard to endure.
It has been a horrible year for us in terms of mental illness - my brother and my husband's sister have been affected as well. We never dreamed it ran so strong in the family, and on both sides too. God have mercy.
Some of you have asked for my son’s name; it is Ben. Thank you so much for your prayers. It means so much to us.

I have a friend that is bipolar. He has very high intelligence but is also an atheist. He is trying to convert me as I try to deal with his attitude.
May God’s peace be with you.
My son suffered from the same disease, may God give your son the healing power he needs and your son will live a normal life!

I ask Our Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of the Father, to be with you, your son, and all of your family. May His healing hand touch each of you, giving you the strength and consolations you need.
Update:
Ben asks for further prayers; he feels like he is “going under.”
I think one of his medications, an anti-psychotic, may be causing anxiety - which is a mild word for terror - which his mind puts a narrative to, a reason, and that is demonic attack.
Yet he and his father went to the psychiatrist today, who wants Ben to double the dose of the anti-psychotic, because he believes psychosis is the primary problem that must be fixed, not fear leading to psychosis. And then a benzodiazepine to address the fear. Ben and his father are on board with this.
I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know. I have always trusted this doctor before but I am afraid he is making a terrible mistake. Pray that he is right and I am wrong!
Pray that if he is wrong, Ben endures these next few days. I supposed a few days will tell whether he is getting worse or better.
Thank you for your prayers. We are seeing our pastor today. I don’t think we’ll get far with our request to see an exorcist. Only one event happened which weighs on the “possessed” side of the scales for me. Everything else to me looks like illness, or maybe illness combined with demonic affliction.
I wish there were enough exorcists here that you could consult one to rule out demonic attack. And I know that telling a person who is mentally ill, and mentally ill only, that he might be possessed or attacked, could do great harm.
Do no harm - a rule for priests as well as physicians.

Father we come to you tonight to ask you for grace, peace, favor, deliverance, and healing for Ben. We cover Ben in the Holy, Precious Blood of your Son Jesus Christ and we thank you that you have NOT given Ben a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We thank you for the peace that passes all human understanding, to keep Ben’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We ask you Lord, to be unto Ben a wall of fire round about (Zech 2:5). We ask you for the same hedge of protection that you gave Job, and we ask you for a battalion of holy warrior angels to surround Ben shoulder to shoulder, with two edged swords dipped in the Blood of Jesus, to protect him from all evil.
We thank you and praise you for the miracle that you’re doing for this family. We praise you, worship you, and give you all the glory in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
Pray Psalm 91 audibly, and insert Ben’s name as you’re praying it back to God:
“Ben shall not be afraid for the terror by night....”
“He shall cover Ben with his feathers....” etc.
and then stay on that Psalm or go to others as the Lord leads, but “out loud” and personalized is very important when fear is trying to come at you.
