Report: Obama Threatened to Shoot Down IAF Iran Strike
Israel national news ^ | 3-1-15

The Bethlehem-based news agency Ma’an has cited a Kuwaiti newspaper report Saturday, that US President Barack Obama thwarted an Israeli military attack against Iran's nuclear facilities in 2014 by threatening to shoot down Israeli jets before they could reach their targets in Iran.

Following Obama's threat, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was reportedly forced to abort the planned Iran attack.

According to Al-Jarida, the Netanyahu government took the decision to strike Iran some time in 2014 soon after Israel had discovered the United States and Iran had been involved in secret talks over Iran’s nuclear program and were about to sign an agreement in that regard behind Israel's back.

The report claimed that an unnamed Israeli minister who has good ties with the US administration revealed the attack plan to Secretary of State John Kerry, and that Obama then threatened to shoot down the Israeli jets before they could reach their targets in Iran.

Would be the first military mutiny since .....???? No American pilot from any service would do that ...

Yeah I gotta say I’d tell him to go to hell if I were the guy on the trigger. I honestly believe that.

understood. obama is the figurehead of the takeover of our govt, but there are now dozens if not hundreds of IslamoNazi agents or moles in the WH, State Dept, Defense now too, and DHS,, etc. All the departments which they want to control or influence in redirecting America’s resources to help build up the worldwide IslamoNazi dictatorship (caliphate).. which they are making remarkably rapid progess doing, incidentally

while the disarm our military, demoralize our military, impose suicidal (or non=winning) ‘rules of engagement on our military, and direct deliveries of arms and of course tons of SSSSS to the Muslim Brotherhood,IslamoNazi terrorist gangs and regimes everywhere they can

we’d never have believed America could fall victim to this kind of infiltration and subversion, or coup if you wish....
what with our “checks and balances”...but...where’s Congress? where are the courts? answer: absent, or facilitating all of the above

Boehner is at best useless....he’s been sitting on impeachment charges for a long time already
all while he continues full funding for the subversive program

or something like that

we are at any event in DDD deep doo doo

I know all about running a search before posting articles. That’s not the point.

The point is that most of us don’t have the abundance of leisure time available to scan every article posted throughout the day. Even though we have ‘Breaking News’ and ‘Front Page News’ sidebars, not all of the really important stories wind up there.

It’s easy to miss an important story when it’s buried under a mountain of new threads. They become buried because FR doesn’t have the programming feature that ‘bumps’ the most active threads to the top of the page. If JohnRob would enable that feature, it would go a long way towards preventing duplicate threads.

You use the “next” link to see if there is something you want to see.

The bottom line is that it’s FREE REPUBLIC that doesn’t want duplicate articles.

“incubated”

Love that. Crocodiles are hatched from eggs laid externally. Nice comparison and relationship.

The “Gloomster” and ISIS are joined at the hip. Essentially, they are one and the same.

Don’t know how to use ‘Next Page’? Don’t know how to scroll through ‘Comments’ tab? Really?

You must have a lot of time on your hands.

I sometimes have less than an hour a day to really sit down and spend some quality time on the forum. Some days I have more, but I run a business and am raising a family.

I can't always scan back through page after page of threads to find the most important news of the day. I'm aware of the 'comments' tab, but don't like to use it. I prefer to engage my mind on one topic at a time, and perhaps engage with other posters about the subject.

It doesn't bother me a bit that important stories get posted multiple times here. It would actually help tremendously if FR's software allowed the most active threads to show at the top of the page. Many discussion forums have such programming. Not sure why FR doesn't.

You're still not hearing me. It's a time consuming chore to scan backwards through multiple pages of threads to find each and every gem of the day's news. It's time that I and other Freepers are painfully short on.

Perhaps you're a retired person with an empty nest. I'm not. Therefore, I don't mind if some story that's been buried multiple times throughout the day, is posted again at 8PM. That means I get to see it before life yanks me away from the computer again.

And yes, I know the posting policies of FR very well.

People follow the policies ... the rest (if it’s a problem for some people to scan article titles) ... is simply their problem and not Free Republic’s problem.

But really, a person can scan all the titles for the last day in less than FIVE MINUTES. I know that because I just scanned the titles for every article for the last 24 hours. I did it in less than five minutes, looking at each title.

NOW ... if you want to READ the article, that’s another story, but you WILL KNOW exactly what has been posted.

Using the American military to protect the Iranian nuclear weapons program is such an insane idea that it could be discussed only under Obama or in Mad Magazine, and it’s probably too insane for Mad.

We’re faced with dogfights and shoot-downs ordered by zero on our Israeli allied pilots and ‘fr’eepers have mascara running down their cheeks over multiple postings. I got your six, man. Unbelievable.

I am inclined to agree with you. But...that doesn’t mean he and his handlers don’t believe they could pull it off.

Him overthrowing our government would be an act of war on the citizens of this nation.

He will be moving out in January of 2017.
