If you feel like it is impossible to put certain foods down, there could be a reason. A new report is naming some of the most addictive foods and explaining why they are so hard to resist.

According to the Huffington Post, the following foods are among the most addictive: pizza, chocolate, chips, cookies, and ice cream.

The report shows foods that cause the most mental distress and physical discomfort are highly processed, as well as high in added fats and sugars.

Food is not currently classified as an addiction, but experts say it can impact how you feel.

I’m doing my best to drop processed foods and feel a little better most of the time.

I knew a guy that was addicted to chocolate.

He would eat at least 5-6 chocolate bars during the day and a 1#bag of M&Ms every night.

When he had spent all his money and he didn’t get his chocolate he would curl up in a ball and rock back and forth shaking and moaning.

Too bad for him I’m a cold hearted bastard and wouldn’t loan him money to buy chocolate.

It was good for a laugh watching him.

I wasn’t splitting hairs, xzins... I am just sensitive to the word “addiction”. I should drink a lot more coffee before posting so I am clearer. I just think in today’s society everything is now an addiction. Cheat on your wife or husband? Yep, sex addiction. Watching porn all the time? Yep, porn addiction. Eat salted chips everyday? Yep, salt addiction.

Now, as for FOOD you can’t put down and CRAVE... cheesecake for me! If I allowed myself, I could eat an entire cheesecake in one day! Over the holidays, I treated myself (notice I said MYSELF since I ate the majority of it) of peanut butter-chocolate cheesecake. Divine and heavenly!!

There’s this more ‘cakey’ type of cheesecake, and this more ‘creamy’ type of cheesecake. Both are good, but the first kind is outstanding!

“Food is not currently classified as an addiction...”

I am addicted to food. If I don’t eat every so often, I’ll die!

The implication of the word “currently” is that they are trying to find a way to define food as an addictive substance but have not yet been able to do so.

I wonder...for what reason do they try?

I kid. I kid,

I know the reason.

What can I say.

He was working for a surveying co. making $2.10/hr. and I was working in a shipyard making a whopping $3.25-$3.50/hr.

Both of us were broke so it was cheap entertainment for me.

A few billion Muslims would walk away from that bacon strip.

Aha!

We line our borders with bacon.

Now!

On days when I’m feeling decadent, I’ll make some eggs benedict - toasted English muffin with a poached egg and round of Canadian bacon, slathered with hollandaise sauce and topped with some diced green olives and Roma tomatoes. In Korea, I also learned that kimchi makes a great side for any egg dish.

Bacon and sour cream. You could almost eat dog doo sandwiches with enough bacon and sour cream.

A few billion Muslims would walk away from that bacon strip.

Allah their demon moon god will forgive them...

I used to work with a couple of Muslims...

Just one of them and me eating out...they ate pork...

Put them together and they won't touch it with a ten foot pole, they would not even enter a restaurant that served pork...

Bacon has that power over men...even overcomes the fear of their demon god..

Just imagine yourself.

You got a 6 pack of 16oz Schlitz, you got Dr. Demento on the radio, and you’re watching a chocohalic having the DTs.

That’s high quality entertainment I don’t care who you are.

Come on admit it, you’d love it.

So you just eat everything raw now?
