A 37-year-old gay mom is set to spark controversy after she said she'd be disappointed if her daughter grew up straight.

Sally Kohn a political commentator who has appeared on CNN and MSNBC, describes herself as living in the 'liberal bubble of Park Slope, Brooklyn, where 'yuppies' want their kids to be happy.

She said: 'I'm gay. And I want my kid to be gay, too.'

Sigh. I miss the old Park Slope filled with WWII vets and their families. Huge, huge families with lots of kids running around.

Then the yuppies moved in in the 80s, the DINKs, double-incomes no kids, drove the prices up to make things unaffordable, and then they moved away when they wanted families and they couldn't afford it either. And we're left with this stuff.

Teens want/need to rebel against their parents’ expectations and strictures. Drugs, piercings and crappy loud music will not bother this mom. The clearest method to shock her is to become a devout born-again Christian, Young Life leader, then wife to a man and mother to several healthy normal children. Go for it all, kid!

Homosexuality is a "Mark" of disobedience.

A conservative group needs to be set up to help children of these homosexuals sue there parents later in life on issue’s like depriving them of a parent of the opposite sex. inflicting there sexual lifestyle on the kid. I am sure with the more militant homosexuals there are all sorts of things that they have done to the children they have raised that is just plain traumatic.

There is no way those kids aren’t exposed to the increasing disgust and annoyance from the rest of us so that we won’t allow our kids to associate with the kids of these out-of-the-closet, emotionally unstable “parents”-shunning can be very effective, especially in smaller communities-it will make life lonely for these unfortunate kids and their delusional “parents”.

Based on that, I think it will be a good time for lawyers in a few years when those kids sue these “parents” for subjecting them to being pariahs in the healthy, normal world...
