"Amazing how few people know that nitrogen is the most common gas in the atmosphere."
Not really. We breathe oxygen, after all, and carbon dioxide is in the news all the time, but no one ever talks about nitrogen.

Most scientist dont believe that CO2 is a problem. Just the ones that study climate and depend upon government grants for funding.

I wonder how many people think that most prevalent gas in the earth’s atmosphere is carbon dioxide.

Yeah, you had to be not only scientifically literate,
but politically correct “scientifically” literate.

I don’t get it, either. Nitrogen gas in quantity displaces oxygen, and is considered an asphyxiation hazard. If we breathe a mixture consisting of more nitrogen gas than oxygen, we’d keel over, eventually, yes?

But then I were one of them engineers when I still worked for a livin', so I was supposed to have a handle on this stuff.
Did not care for them slipping the globull warming BS in there...
To: shove_it
I got 13/13, but interesting stuff in the analysis:
There are only modest partisan differences in knowledge about which gas is generally seen by scientists as causing atmospheric temperatures to rise; 63% of independents say it is carbon dioxide, as do 58% of Republicans and 56% of Democrats.

I missed one. That is because I am old and went to school before liberals took total control of the educational system.

It was a ringer because CO2 does not cause warming, it follows warming. That's why it's called a trailing proxy. A warm environment releases CO2 that is otherwise sequestered by nature.

It is a “push poll”
Scientists do not agree that CO2 in the atmosphere causes global warming. There are so many problems with that statement it is laughable.

12/13....forgot about Nitrogen being a bigger piece of the pie than CO2 in the atmosphere.
