Lester Holt, who has been filling in for Williams since Feb. 9, will continue as interim anchor of Nightly News.

"We have decided today to suspend Brian Williams as Managing Editor and Anchor of NBC Nightly News for six months. The suspension will be without pay and is effective immediately," NBC News president Deborah Turness said in a memo, adding that "this was a very hard decision. I have a hard time watching anyone self-immolate like he has. I hope he finds way to use what he’s learned to help others..

So plastic and otherwise devoid of talent that they could have come from Central Casting.

Wonder if NBC will send Brian and his family to Tuscany, to a lovely hillside villa, where they can vacation and be protected from the terrible things that are going to be said about him. So that when he comes back he won’t feel bullied or picked on for being different.

You Are There was a 1950s American historical educational CBS television program with Walter Cronkite.

I believe that was Edward R. Murrow....was it not?

NBC news had an opportunity to say they will not tolerate anything in their news but the truth and fire the liar.

Instead, they squirm and try to find some sort of “middle ground.”

Shame on them all. The MSM is revealed when the light shines on them.

Pathetic.

For certain, Edward R. Murrow originated the program.

If Uncle Walter had any involvement, it would've been as a guest host toward the end of the show's run.

He’s lost so much weight, it’s like we only have half a Sharpton.

Except his head....his head is huge! Looks really weird on his tiny body.

I hear his daughter is on a popular television show. Maybe she can get him a job.

At the end of six months, Brian Williams will retire with a very nice severance package because his bosses knew for a decade or so that he was lying and didn’t do much to stop him.

That Hillary caption brings up I used to ask long, long ago.
If Hillary found it so easy to turn a borrowed $10K into $100K in her first futures trade; Why did she quit trading?"

Agree. I spent years resenting Williams (for charming a family member into liberalism) but today I feel sad for his demise.

Kind of think myself that the vast majority of the anchors lie, and lie all the time. Why is this news?

Sad ? He's a propagandist. Like a better-looking Goebbels without the armband.

RE: Edward R. Murrow

That's what I remembered but I checked wiki graffiti and it said Cronkite.
