I just came home from visiting a relative in a nursing home. He never did coke. Neither did my great grandmother and grandfather who also fell to dementia. Americans are so afraid of life which includes sickness and death that many of us have to find ways to rebuke the sick for being sick. Sometimes you get Alzheimers, sometimes you get cancer. You can do Crossfit, you can be a bigger vegetarian that Hitler, you can flip tires, and go to Crossfit until you drop from exhaustion but it won’t save you. Nobody gets off this planet without dying of something.
