I’m in NYC, which is pretty much the worst place to be if the SHTF. But thankfully there are plans in place to get people out if need be. Selfishly, I’m one of the few with guns around here. Most will be too occupied with looting to be thinking long term. We’ll pretty much be flying by the seat of our pants. Thankfully I have training.

Thanks for the info. A little hand held picking up traffic from 200 miles away is darn good.

A CB is basically as good as the antennae’s SWR setting and the height. But I’m thinking a short distance if for nothing else than to be able to call the cops if needed. Highway Patrol still uses them.
