I was just over looking at the DailyMail website and noticed that so many of the stories are out of Florida. A disproportionate amount it seems. Any Floridians here? Just what's going on in your state, do you feel anything's off-kilter?
Are a high number of British people leaving the overwhelmed island of moslem infestation and residing in Florida now???
Tampa here, I think we’re getting ready to tip over.
I am an impartial observer of Florida, although, even though it’s -10F this morning outside the back door, I’ve never been tempted.
Florida has a lot of misfits and vagabonds, it also has a lot of angry black people. It is possible to visit large prisons (aka gated communities) where mostly nice white people feel a sense of security being inside a fence guarded by black men with guns. There are also large (real) prisons where mostly not-so-nice black people are inside a fence guarded by Spanish-speakers with guns.
There are also fabulously wealthy places located VERY VERY close to amazingly poor places, like Rio except plastic surgery in Florida really can’t match nature in Brazil.
Did I leave anything out?
Florida is a state where people from all over congregate. So instead of having a distinct culture (as Iowa would have, for example), we have a million different cultures sharing the same space. If you go to the areas where a large majority are real Floridians, you’ll find calm and well-balanced people living a comfortable southern lifestyle who are mostly Christian and conservative.
Florida is no longer a state of 'Floridians' - it has become a state of carpetbaggers who seek to change everything Floridian to 'how we did it up north'.
Thing is, they moved to Florida to escape their problems up north. Then they forget that and proceed to remold Florida to suit them instead of becoming 'Floridians' and blending in to enjoy the easygoing lifestyle we once had and are now losing.
Kinda sounds like those who come to the USA from other countries, doesn't it?

Having been to Florida once (Miami), I was surprised that whites find it bearable to live there; we are simply not designed for that heat/intense sun. Maybe in the panhandle it is more mild.
What surprised me most (as a person from NJ, which is teeming with Hispanics legal or otherwise) was a sign on a restaurant advertising that they spoke English. I haven’t even seen that up here...
Yeah you left out all the good people and good communities.
Just seems there’s a lot of crazy people doing weird/illegal things there in more numbers than other states and it’s white people too so can’t really blame ghetto culture or illegals.
Gator-fever? Maybe the alligators, or something in the swamps transmit some brain-infecting aomeba (sp):)
Haha well it always used to be the place to retire but I heard Arizona is gaining ground in that arena. Besides the crazies don’t seem to be seniors. Is there a lot of trailer parks lol? No offense to the nice, normal folk (my own parents) who live in mobile home courts but we all know they do attract a fair share of undesirables as well.
Where have all the natives gone? It’s like around the city here in the Midwest, more and more friends and family are telling me it’s just now hitting them that when they’re out and about, they don’t see many familiar faces if you know what I mean. They are asking themselves “where have all the caucasian people gone to?”
Hard to feel sorry for you here in Chicago haha but yeah 45 seems colder than normal for ya’ll. What’s your average low temperature in the winter?

I don't remember it being that way while we was there so it's really sad when I hear these reported relayed to me.
