Excerpt,
Few celebrities have weathered as many extreme ups and downs as Heather Mills. On one hand, the ex-Mrs. Paul McCartney is known by such tags as Mucca or the most hated woman in Britain; on the other hand, she has managed to carve out a wide-ranging career including lauded charity work, stints on reality TV, and Alpine ski racing Mills, who lost her lower leg in an 1993 accident, is a multi-medalist for the British Paralympic ski team.
Still, the 47-year-olds acrimonious 2008 divorce with the Beatle has remained, publicly at least, the centerpiece of her life. In a new interview with Event magazine, she comes clean about some of the reasons behind the split.
Mills is completely frank in the chat, making a slew of provocative statements that are sure to raise eyebrows. She claims: Losing my leg was easier to cope with [than divorce], adding that she was completely in love with McCartney.
In what might be one of the best understatements of all time, Mills reveals, for some reason its very hard to be married to a Beatle, adding that her predecessor, the late Linda McCartney, had it tough.
As for the most famous (or infamous) Beatle wife, Yoko Ono? Shes a very wise, very lovely woman, Mills approves.
Still, Mills does seem to take some of the blame for the split on her own shoulders. When asked why she thinks the marriage ended, she says, I say what I think. If I think something is wrong Ill say it. If I wasnt that type of person wed still be married now.
For years I was attracted to these very strong, powerful men who think they want a strong woman but actually they want someone who does what they want.

One thing about Paul though— he stays true to his ‘birds’.
Heather Mills was just a mismatch for him. What it was....
Yeah, they all dumped their first wives and first girlfriends. Success too young breeds weird behavior. John was my neighbor for several years - I used to follow him around Bloomingdales. Poor guy; he never got left alone.
Out Stumping for charities?
Oh really-— yeh Lennon liked living in NYC.
He loved NY. He walked everywhere. Then some creep from Alaska comes and murders him on his doorstep. Unforgivable crime.
All ... day ... long.
Dammit!!
“Money” (that’s what I want)
“Can’t buy me love”
“You never give me your money”
But, its Heather and the “Taxman” who win in the end.
Yes, I heard that from the horse’s mouth. Linda McCartney said that on some TV show, maybe Regis and Kathie Lee. When would he have had the opportunity to cheat?
I read in an biography of John (how accurate?) that he had severe addiction problems. We know he came from a truly dysfunctional family, and that always give problems of some type of or another - small ones if the person has good people and makes an effort to overcome and attaches themselves to good influences, but they can be monstrous things that mere money will never atone for.
I heard that later on in life John started to find some normalcy, but he made such pain for his first son through Cynthia. We all know the song “Hey Jude” was written by Paul for him - Paul came from a family of relative normalcy and that came out in HIS life. It had to pain Paul to watch John tear his family up with that nutty Yoko. Everyone talks about the effect of Yoko on “The Beatles”, but I’m guessing that Paul, being a normal “family guy” for all his faults, was probably pretty ticked off at John for what he did to Julian.
Look at JFK. When you have money and “yes men” around you, you can do anything. But I think Paul had to be more normal than the rest because he came from a more stable family.
But remember JFK - he used to hide in closets in the WH with his women. And there was no way the Beatles had anywhere near a normal existence.
"Sheboygan - you're on the air with Heather Mills"
And I bet she was open to a discussion on the merits of her argument.
...and say it and say it and say it and say it...
lol
Everybody has (or should have) the right to offer their point of view.
But when somebody starts things off by SAYING they have something to SAY, and are going to SAY it...brother I head for the door.
i think all people don’t want to be used by other people just for their own ends and desires. it’s dehumanizing. might as well get a robot.
it’s the reason why God gave us free will.
