Heather Mills Comes Clean: Love, Marriage, Divorce, Wings, Yoko, and More

Excerpt,

Few celebrities have weathered as many extreme ups and downs as Heather Mills. On one hand, the ex-Mrs. Paul McCartney is known by such tags as “Mucca” or “the most hated woman in Britain”; on the other hand, she has managed to carve out a wide-ranging career including lauded charity work, stints on reality TV, and Alpine ski racing — Mills, who lost her lower leg in an 1993 accident, is a multi-medalist for the British Paralympic ski team.

Still, the 47-year-old’s acrimonious 2008 divorce with the Beatle has remained, publicly at least, the centerpiece of her life. In a new interview with Event magazine, she comes clean about some of the reasons behind the split.

Mills is completely frank in the chat, making a slew of provocative statements that are sure to raise eyebrows. She claims: “Losing my leg was easier to cope with [than divorce],” adding that she was “completely in love” with McCartney.

In what might be one of the best understatements of all time, Mills reveals, “for some reason it’s very hard to be married to a Beatle,” adding that her predecessor, the late Linda McCartney, “had it tough.”

As for the most famous (or infamous) Beatle wife, Yoko Ono? “She’s a very wise, very lovely woman,” Mills approves.

Still, Mills does seem to take some of the blame for the split on her own shoulders. When asked why she thinks the marriage ended, she says, “I say what I think. If I think something is wrong I’ll say it. If I wasn’t that type of person we’d still be married now.

“For years I was attracted to these very strong, powerful men who think they want a strong woman but actually they want someone who does what they want.”

Total Baloney. Paul divorced her because of her membership of the PETA organization and her complicit knowledge of the murder of thousands, if not millions, of pets that people took to their facilities.

One of the British tabloids posted a quote from Paul McCartney that he would spend every bit of his money fighting to keep her from getting anything.

And PETA fired her because all of this information was just starting to come out, not because Paul's daughter Mary stopped being a PETA photographer. But if you repeat the lie enough, most people will believe it.

All men want women who will do what they want. Voluntarily.

All women want men who will love them, and do what they want.

Paul could have any woman in the world and he chose a homely woman with one leg. Go figure.

George and Ringo had much better taste in girls than either Paul or John. Although Cynthia was very cute as was Jane Asher.

Oh, one of those women.

I like Paul - think he’s a very smart guy - but he’s cheaper than Cary Grant and Fred MacMurray combined. A woman who picked up a napkin he had written some lyrics on got sued by McCartney - he didn’t want her to collect a penny from a used napkin!

Oh, one of those women.

Yeah...one with opinions who has the gall to think she actually has the right to express them!

I had read some rumors that McCartney cheated on Linda and Heather. Biographies of McCartney don’t mention these rumors, so I can’t be sure they are true. However, in a number of failed relationships both parties are to blame. Heather may have been a b**** but McCartney may not have been pure as the driven snow either.

I thought I had heard that while Paul and Linda were married, the only nights they weren’t together for their entire marriage was when Paul got busted for pot in Japan.

All men want women who won’t use them for their own ends. Poor old McCartney who had the gift of being married to his soulmate and then losing her was vulnerable and fell for the con.

Oh, no, McCartney is hardly a saint - a tightwad control freak is more like it.

That being said, I did see a documentary on him in which he was extremely nice to his fans and very intelligent talking about how he deals with giving his money to poor countries and poor people. A very interesting man but I’m sure he was very difficult to live with!

We live in a country where John Lennon takes six bullets in the chest, Yoko Ono is standing right next to him and not one .....ng bullet! Explain that to me! Explain it to me, God! Explain it to me, God! I want it explained to me now! Now we’ve got twenty-five more years of “aaaaaaaaaaahhhh!” Yeah, I’m real ....ing happy now,

She didn’t have a chance against McCartney in court. She didn’t have a leg to stand on.

Sounds like he might fit in pretty well here.

McCartney speaks with an American accent these days. I was shocked to hear that on the doc. I’m sure he’s a phony lib, though, although he probably secretly votes Tory!

John should have stuck with Cynthia his first wife but she was way too normal and classy for him. John went off the deep end and was attracted to another fellow nut job — c’est la vie.
