Sheriff Steverson says they are not actively searching for anyone else in the case, but says they have not ruled out that someone might have been helping Towns out

“I’d die for a ‘64 Mustang” becomes a reality. Truly sickening when you think about it..

How sad. As soon as I read the circumstances of them going missing, I just knew it would end badly. I feel for their family.

I somehow doubt this guy pulled this off by himself. I think the sheriff ought to look a little harder for an accomplice.

Those are my thoughts also, 28 years old and never been in trouble with the law before and now this, yes I think they should look a little closer and they may very well be. These things take time, plea bargains and what have you to bring out the whole story.

Damn. Just damn. I had a feeling it would turn out this way. Prayers up for those left behind.

What a world.

An accomplice of the female type I would bet. You only do stuff like this for someone you think you love. And who you would love more than a ‘64 Mustang.

Last week I had visions of this sort of thing happening to me,I bought an RZ500 Yamaha from a guy near Sacramento, yes I paid in Cash, but I was a little nervous at first as I pulled in to his driveway with my loaded 380 beretta in my lap. Fortunately my fears were quelled rather quickly when he was sitting on the porch with wife and kids. It all worked out just fine.

One time we were to meet someone to sell something.
We went with armed backup and so did the buyers. Turned out they were just as leery as we were.

We would never go anywhere without backup.

Folks. Please be careful responding to Craigslist, as this isn’t the only murder associated with For Sale Items. There have been others.

I hadn’t thought about a female accomplice, but you could be right.

You have to use your head on CL I have used use it quite a bit lately. When I transfer something It’s usually in the parking lot of the local police station or at a busy restaurant and I’m packing heat. All is well. Today you can’t trust folks our society has gone nuts.

I believe the poor couple put an ad on Craigslist stating they wanted to buy a 64 Mustang. The killer lured them in. How awful for the family.

I sold some snow tires on Craigslist last fall. The guy wanted to meet in a Kmart parking lot, but I told him “no” since I wanted to meet somewhere with people around.
