Live Look: Blizzard Hits Northeast
(Excerpt) Read more at abcnews.go.com ...
“There better be two feet tomorrow morning.”
Hells yeah!
Or else I might get the “sorry, we were wrong, we’re not closed, there’s no blizzard, get your tushy in to work” call.
And I really, really, really need that not to happen!
If this comes to pass as forecast/hyped, I wonder if Obama will leave Saudi Arabia, run back to NJ, and hug Christie? Nah, he’s not facing an election in a couple of weeks. Christie and NJ can go to hell.
Six inches of snow so far there?
CNN Producer to his “expert”:
“I better start seeing some real snow pretty fast - getting beyond prime time in the Midwest....remember...I can bring in “Big Dan the Weather Man” from Milwaukee tomorrow!”
It’s propaganda so politicians can all share in the federal money distribution.
instead of "This just in..."
Rome, New York = population of 34,950 people and 466.4 people per square mile.
“The Greater Boston area is home to an estimated 4.5 million, making it the 10th largest metropolitan area in the United States. As a commuting region, Greater Boston has an even larger population of 7.6 million, which makes it the 6th largest Combined Statistical Area in the country. Boston has a density of 12,900 people per square mile.”

That's why 3000 vehicles were stranded on Rt. 128 during the Blizzard of 78.
True, I was stranded during the January 20th storm (21”)on Route 3 south, stayed in the old HoJos in Kingston overnight, the Blizzard of 78 followed two weeks later dumping another 27”.
That's great! You can hear the background sounds (in the house) as you watch. While I was watching, there was silence, then I could hear the TV - "Ladies and gentlemen, the music of Deep Purple" - followed by the music of Deep Purple! Like a time capsule...
We don't need 2 feet of snow for a disaster, if we get the forecast 65-70 mph winds. six inches of snow will bring down power lines. -Tom
Yep, there are a few things you just can't stock up on too far ahead and milk's one of them, unless you want to drink that powdered crap and that's what it is too....................Crap.
On the other hand, milk will stay good for a couple of weeks and the storm won't last that long.
I do loves me some milk.
“And buy milk, bread and eggs!”
Does everyone have french toast on snowy days?
The Pats haven’t played in Boston for over 40 years.
.
A seizure?
You shoulda had a martini!
This is an emergency buy milk duds.
Yet another reason, as if I needed more, to cut the cable wire. It is going to snow in the northeast. For this amazing, spectular wealth of information, I pay around $100/month. Color me stupid - is that racist ? Could there exist a less relevant iota of information ? Update, FNC just announced that situations may not be as dire as first predicted. It is impossible to be cynical in America today.
