DC’s only gonna get an inch or two. That can paralyze the city, but won’t last long.
Well, if it’s just paralyzed for half a day, that’s half a day less they can work against us all. lol

I’m in Northern NJ— 12 miles west from NYC— (the way the crow flies). It has been snowing all day—— with very little accumulation. not much going on now. Boston seems to be in for it, but we are on the western edge of it all, and might escape it. The weather channel just said NYC might have a “near blizzard” . After all the scary hype ALL DAY LONG— they are backing down. fine with me. I can take the snow— but don’t want a power outage. That’s the hard one to take!!
CNN Producer: “Find me some G_D-d_mned heavy snow!”
Intern: “Well sir, we can’t just show stock footage from Anchorage - those Free Republic folks will figure it out.”
CNN Producer: “Drat!”
Along the strain of algore STUPIDITY I noticed today the following. On one of the channels they happened to post the 10 largest snowfalls ever to occur in NYC. One was around 1880, another around 1930 - 40. I was not paying that much attention to get the actual dates. It later dawned on me that at least seven and possibly eight have occurred since 2000. So where is all this f89shdk***ing global warming.????

Went back and checked the live stream and thought I saw some snow flakes but it might have been the camera operator’s dandruff.

I mistook the new weather guy as Ted Cruz. This morning I turn on the news and said, WTF, Ted Cruz doing the weather??
They look simular. Maybe it’s just me.

Yeah, I remember the three-fer. I was in DC at the time and got 30”. The one day it didn’t snow, the plow came through my cul-de-sac and pushed four feet of snow pack right my driveway, all the way to my bumper, and I’d just spent hours digging it out. I got a nine-day paid vacation because of the weather. LOL
