(STMW) — A mother and daughter upset that their teenage relative was disciplined at a South Side elementary school are charged with allegedly beating and stabbing two Chicago Public Schools employees and a teen boy at the school.
Authorities say the attack took place on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Bond Elementary School in the 7000 block of South May Street, the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting.

Oh, I’m sure they were lily white because everyone knows it’s the whites who commit all the violent crimes. In fact, race is always irrelevant if it’s someone other than a white committing any crime. Kinda’ like political affiliation doesn’t come into a political crime story unless it’s a republican at fault, then it’s major big news that must lead every other paragraph.

Start school at 5, attends classes 1 through 5, being the norm. May have been age 6 in first grade with elementary going through 6th grade = age 12.

Yeah, but liberals still tell me that all that is needed is changing the IQ test. (I really thought that one had died off years ago) They really don’t understand when I reply that, that won’t make people of color any smarter.
They don’t even understand when I point out that devising a test that brings the 85 IQs up to 100 will only cause the formerly 100 IQ test takers to score 115 etc.
They really can’t wrap their heads around people from SE Asia scoring 115 on the current IQ tests. Hmmm - maybe it’s ones politics that result in low scores. :-)
(speaking avgs here of course, we all know people of color who do very well)

Elementary school traditionally goes through 8th grade.
My dog has more impulse control than Debbie and her mother, Debbie. He gets distracted easily too.
I should have checked that state - in Florida it is 1-5/6.
Middle school is 5/6 to 8 = middle school.
Senior high finishes off the lil Einsteins.
If I recall correctly in NYC when I was growing up, some schools went to 8th, some to 6th with what we called a Junior High School for 7,8 and 9. The parochial schools all went to 8th.
In Bayonne, NJ where my kid went to school the several elementary schools all went to 8th and then there was just the one HS for the whole (little) city.
