Tom Brady's tale doesn't hold weight [Says sack Brady for Super Bowl if he cheated]
ESPN ^ | Jan. 23, 2015 | Ian O'Connor

Under his oversized ski cap, Tom Brady could not hide from the fact he was convicting himself in the court of public opinion. The quarterback of the New England Patriots admitted that footballs pumped up to 12.5 pounds per square inch are "a perfect fit for me," yet swore he did not notice a difference in the AFC Championship Game when most of the balls had significantly less pressure.

Brady's story Thursday was harder to believe than the story of the 199th pick in the NFL draft becoming one of the greatest players of all time...

"I would never do anything outside of the rules of play," Brady said.

But his own words told a different tale, and as soon as he was done talking, a 17-year veteran of the quarterback position, Mark Brunell, said on ESPN that he was among those who didn't believe Brady. Earlier Thursday, even before Bill Belichick seemed to be throwing his franchise player under a triple-decker bus in his own news conference, Hall of Famer Troy Aikman said on a Dallas radio station the following:

"It's obvious that Tom Brady had something to do with this."...

Question: I wondering, does this mean that any of the referees who held the ball at the end of a play when Brady’s boys were out there were in on this as well?

Mark Brunell

How many rings and MVP’s does he have? Oh yeah one, as a bench warmer behind Brees.

It is a real pity and a true shame that the New England Patriots have turned this Super Bowl into such an ugly stink mess with cheating.

Used to be people could be proud during the Super Bowl... with the jets flying overhead and much of the world watching.

A wet ball at that. No evidence against Brady, no crime. It wouldn’t have made any difference in the game.

Deflation has certainly been the ONLY story I see in the pre-SB coverage. Now realize I’m in Indiana where that topic is a bit more sensitive.

We wouldn’t even be hearing about this silly thing if the Patriots had lost.

If that’s the criteria, Troy Aikman has three rings.

Why is this important? Is this going to stop the sun from rising or setting? 6 months from now it will be forgotten and there will be a new crisis in the NFL.

I propose we forget about this for another week or two. And then a couple of weeks after the Super Bowl the NFL should suspend Brady for the 2015 season.

OK, maybe that’s too harsh. But don’t ruin the Super Bowl and the chance to see the Seattle Seahawks work their 4th Quarter magic again. Or suspend Brady and watch Seattle clobber the Patriots. No thanks.

It wouldn’t have made any difference in the game.

Sure it did...: 'Deflady Brady' uses 30-yard deep pass to secure 2nd TD to bump Colt offense off-balance [Vanity]

Helped 'Deflate-y Brady' toss deep 30-yarder to Vereen as key play of 2nd td...

Once Colts down 14-0, went from 40% ground game to less than 17% ground game rest of first half...I don't think would have happened if only down 7-0 at that point.

Likewise had Colts only been down 10-7 at half instead of 17-7, wouldn't have abandoned run game in 3rd qtr...10 of 11 3rd qtr plays were pass.

If it had been normal weather conditions, Colts might have come close to passing that much anyway...but in the rain...a 40% run vs. 60% pass is what Colts needed to sustain drives...

Sustained drives would have made for tighter game in 2nd half

Exactly. Now explain...Why are you posting in here again...since so trifling?

Isn't this below your time-budget to spend posting...let alone reading?

So what are we to believe? Your assessment above? Or you're actual time commitment being given to this thread at the moment?
