Jeremy hurt his arm when he fell. It was not the hit that did it.
Yes. Seattle practices catching balls while flat on their backs.
Here is the ‘hit’ on jeremy. Goog football hit. Jeremy just landed wrong.
Gadzooks, Hoagy-- I don't like the Seahags but I don't dislike you.
Your team played a great game up until the very end when tempers got very raw after the Pats intercepted that Wilson pass. All season you've rooted for your team and didn't become sanctimonious and holier-than-thou when the were winning and didn't go ballistic when they got beat.
I want you always on these NFL threads and on my NFL Ping List.
I firmly place my tongue in my cheek when I rant on about my Boys because the past few years I've not had much to hang my Cowboy Hat upon-- My poor old noggin has been bloody, but unbowed.
I hated for my Boys to get beat the way they did by big's Packer Wackers but that's football. Sometimes the ball bounces your way, sometimes not. I didn't bitch about it like some others have ad nauseam over-- Well-- Shall we say recent 'NFL irregularities.'
Hey, it is football. Crap happens and you move on.
A few years ago when the Patriots were going undefeated, there was a likewise obnoxious Pats' fan who was abhorrent, loathsome, nauseating, sickening, hateful, insufferable, intolerable, detestable, abominable, despicable and contemptible with his posts all over the NFL threads. By Gad, at the end in Super Bowl XLII he had me rooting for the unprintable New York Giants after they had bush-wacked my 13-3 Cowboys at Texas Stadium 3 weeks before!!!!
It took me months to get over that--
It is not that many Freepers hate the Seahawks, it is the really obnoxious Seahag ones (who shall remain nameless but they and all on this thread know who they are) that can never accept they just got beat. They whine and whine and cry crocodile tears by the buckets full-- All without any trace of a sense of humor!
Or they infer that because they, and they alone on this thread, appear to believe in God-- And that proves without any doubt that the Pats must have cheated to beat their anointed Seahawks
That's Bovine Scatus. And that goes double for the horse they rode in on--
Gadzooks, every one who is any one knows God only loves the Cowboys... That's why Clint and Jerry put the hole in the roof so He could watch his favorite team.
Should it have been ruled an incompletion then - because he caught it in that manner and doesn’t play for Dallas, Boston, San Francisco, or Pittsburgh?
i guess he was knocked out of bounds. correct.
Thanks, Bender. I feel a little better now. I guess I felt a bit disheartened (dare I say...deflated?) seeing all the anti-Seattle posts yesterday.
I would hope that I never become an ego-inflated windbag that acts like a complete and total ass concerning the Seahawks.
I would certainly say that there’s something to like about all 32 teams in the NFL...even the Cowboys. :)
Again...thank you.
After further review, it looks like Seattle took the timeout after the catch, so, if he did go out of bounds, he was probably pushed like you said and the clock kept running.
Bender, you come across like a nice guy.
Gadzooks, Pap-- I am... a nice guy--
But if you tell anybody... I'll kill you!
Gadzooks, Hoag-- Even... the Deadskins?????
Bendy, thanks for running the NFL thread throughout the season. I really enjoyed them! Kept my passion for the NFL going after my fantasy team tanked, I got knocked out of my knock-out league, and my Ravens lost to the Pats. Already looking forward to next season!
We go for five next year
And we’ll be the 1st to Seven.
Your secret is safe with me Bro.
Did you see how much NE used the “magic 3”? I wasn’t looking that closely.
No, they used Edelman and picked on the rookie corner Simon after the injurines. Injuries decided this one, and Belichick and Co. took advantage. It would not have been close but for that, and they were able to pull it out. It happens...
I used to like the Skins. I was located right outside DC one year (I think it was the 79-80 timeframe) There was a game that was either in the playoffs or to get in the playoffs vs Dallas. Washington was not able to line up in time at the end of the game for a field goal. I even think it would have been well out of the kicker's range. I couldn't believe the amount of whining that went on. "Lil Lord Fauntroy" the DC rep was calling on Congress to investigate the NFL even though he admitted he had not watched the game but some of his constituents were complaining. I guess I could eventually overcome that dislike but Snyder sealed the deal.
