Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning will turn 39 in March, creating speculation that the veteran will decide to retire after the 2014 NFL season.

In a recent interview, Manning, who is in contract until after the 2016 season, denied reports suggesting that he is planning to call it quits after this season, saying that all talks about his future at this point should be ignored.

I was watching the game with the sound turned off as I was also watching “The Godfather” trilogy.

I did notice him overthrow quite a few passes. He did not look very sharp. Part of it was either the defensive backs were really good or his receivers were not very good. The DBs broke up a lot of passes and the receivers were not open at all. No QB could have completed those passes.

I am no analyst, but the mojo seems to have left when Decker did. Fox kept bleating there was nothing wrong with the passing game, joke of the season.

He certainly is a shell of what he was last year, and even if they had eeked out a win, would have been shredded by NE.

He was beat up pretty bad a few games ago. Deep thigh bruise or something. The older you get, the harder it is to get over those things.

Brady said that, not Manning.

He should. Manning’s game is in serious decline and he won’t win another Superbowl. He doesn’t need the money so why risk injury just to extend his career?

Manning is a great — Super Great QB. But — his time to retire is now.

The Colts played extremely well today. They overperformed.
Manning wasn’t the only problem Denver had, the whole team played pretty bad. They had a few good defensive stops, but for the most part, they never got it together.

Manning should probably retire. He is a fine person and has so many options for his future. I figure the Colts let him go knowing he only had a couple years left at the top of his game. They were lucky to get Luck.

Is there anything more to play for? He’ll never get another ring. He’s only a year older than Brady, but Tom seems to have several more years left at a high level than Peyton.

“He’s still a quality QB. The loss wasn’t all his fault... Not hardly.”

Too many incompletions as the game progressed, seems like his arm was worn out.

You gotta give some credit to the Colts ya know. Our D was pretty darn effective. And Andrew and the O, after a bad start, picked it up.

We’re off to NE to do battle with the Brady bunch.

Go COLTS!

He wanted to lose in the last 2 minutes.

John Fox is responsible for the coaching.

Denver had a predictable game plan which = No Game Plan
And No Win.

Manning may retire.

Fox should be fired.

DelRio has to go. No defiance tonight and Thomas couldn't catch balls which literally hit him in those multimillion's dollar hands of his. The game sucked.

I totally agree re: risking injury. Of course, I’m not an athlete and I don’t get the mentality. In the sports world...39 is NOT young. He can make plenty of money from endorsements, commercials and other ventures. I can easily see him as a commentator.

I have been a huge Peyton fan for all of his career. And, heck, I live in the land of America’s Team (/s). He needs to hang up his cleats...and probably should have after last year.

Maybe Mrs. Manning needs to talk to him. ;)

Yeah, because getting this far into the playoffs in indicative of him sucking.

They will drag he and Brady kicking and screaming.

Yes, Manning agreed wholeheartedly with Brady’s comment when asked about it.

The Colts showed a lot of class today, imho.

They could have scored at the end of the game. But since the game was won...they didn’t. Lots of teams would have rubbed it in.

No argument as the Colts simply looked the better team. However, manning was not sharp
