Black On White

I never care how much it snows in winter,
Upon hill or dale, field, or plain.
Just so the dog can romp and play,
In the powdery mist along our lane.

My dog, Black, puts his nose to the ground,
As he makes his way ahead of me.
His head bops up and down and plows a path,
Shoveling the shiny white crystals upon his black face.

I seem to forget the cold outside and that there are chores to do.
I wish we could stay and play all day,
In a February snow.
Just my dog and the quiet white.
Listening to the whistle of traveling drifts,
Through hill and dale, field, and plain.

We don’t get snow but our frosty weather resembled snow last week. The Tule fog is back today. :~(

Thank you, (((Amy))). The Cedar allergies are just miserable...I have taken lots of symptom relievers but am still filling the wastebasket, and coughing. My biggest fear is running out of antihistamines and Kleenex. My get up and go has gone.

Are the allergy medications you take over the counter or prescribed? If they are over the counter, can your doc give you something a little stronger.

Allergies can be so miserable. I’m not sure what I’m allergic to; I think it might be molds. When it gets damp is when I seem to have trouble.

They are over the counter..once by prescription..I take two different kinds...I can see improvement today. Hope it lasts...
I’m allergic to mold, too.
