This was my “BOOK” Christmas. I told my kids to just buy me a book as there is nothing I want or need anymore. I loved The Hunger Games so they ended up giving me several boxed sets of other trilogies/series that have been popular recently. I ended up with 12 books [large ones], which should do me for awhile, lol. I read purely for pleasure.

I go to bed with the newspaper and a book. Truthfully I prefer paperback books so I can lie down and read and these are mostly all big hardcover books, lol. But, I will read them.

I go to bed with the newspaper and a book. Truthfully I prefer paperback books so I can lie down and read and these are mostly all big hardcover books, lol. But, I will read them.

They gave me one several years ago and I even signed up at Amazon, but I never have used it! Guess I’m stuck in my old book loving ways and should give it a try.

It is pretty much except for hubby having a wreck while going to see his mom and now is stuck up there till he can get a rental car.
It’s already been a weird year and it’s only 5 days old!

I hope he is OK. It’s too bad but the car can be repaired. Hope he has a safe trip home too.
One of my daughters and her family are on a ski trip and my 11yr old grandson was sledding and fractured both wrists the other day. He has been playing quarterback on his Jr High football team too... This may harm his sports for quite awhile.
