“The playoffs should be the top eight.”

I agree.

I agree with you that TCU should be in the Final Four instead of Ohio State.

Yup. The SEC stinks.

It stinks for TCU and Baylor that they are not in the final four. If they had been named UTexas or Oklahoma, then Ohio State would have been stomping Ole Miss today.

All that said, I sure hope the Tide rolls tomorrow. And I will even put in a War Eagle for Aubrun tomorrow morning. Just a tiny one. And only because today has been so embarrassing.

I love the Bama team this year. They are a great bunch of young men who are having a great time with each other and working hard day in and out as are players on other teams. I like their attitudes this year. This team is more humble.

It is fun to watch good football. I hope we see that in both big games tomorrow. Happy New Year!

I disagree. I think that Alabama getting stomped by either OSU/Oregon/FSU would be great for college football. It would help burst this ridiculous 'SEC Dominance' bubble that gives SEC teams an automatic edge.

At one point in the season MSU and Ole Miss were #1 in the country. We all now know that that was based on the "SEC Dominance" scam.

Go Buckeyes!

So you did, however, using that logic Baylor should be in, not TCU, since Baylor beat TCU.

I was simply giving the NCAA, ESPN, committee opinion on that last.

Actually, both Baylor and TCU should be in.

In my opinion there should be no National Championship as there really is no fair way to honestly crown one, without some long drawn out playoff scenario involving lots of post season games. That would be unfair to the players to subject them to that many games and could end up costing someone a career in the NFL with the possibility of injuries. Could TCU beat either Alabama or OSU, certainly possible. Unfortunately we won't get a chance to see either of those matchups because it is what it is.

Congratulations on TCU's dominant win. But could TCU even repeat it? Each game has chances of quite different outcomes. Perhaps in the rematch TCU's team may not show up as Ole Miss's team didn't in that game.

Perhaps you can promote a better system and promote it to the powers that be.

So, by your logic, Georgia Tech should be in the playoffs because they demolished an SEC West team last night.

Try telling that to all those young men who go to the bowl games.

Any seniors in these non-playoff games who are looking forward to the NFL draft, their biggest concern is getting through these games uninjured.

Let's face it, the Texas Twins did not measure up and were not included in the playoffs this year...There is always next year...One would have thought that a dose of humility would have served the state of Texas well this year...

“So, by your logic, Georgia Tech should be in the playoffs because they demolished an SEC West team last night. “

You have no rational basis on your statement.

Georgia Tech is a good team, but they were second in their conference, and lost three games. Like apples and oranges to compare that with a one loss team.

NO comparison whatsoever, so I know where you are coming from. Nowhere, and a very stupid comment.

And you are a fool if you think all those young men and coaches believe there is no incentive to win in these games.

Congrats, looks like TCU is the champion of Texas...I would tell you to quit your whining but you obviously don’t have the character for that.

Well maybe the Big-12 will have a championship game next year and quit hoping that somebody will take pity on them and let them into the big time...

And you have to have better arguments than what you give, trying to give a three-loss team the national championship. Pretty stupid comments.

and BTW, FSU proved today that they do not belong in the hunt, as they gave up 59 pts.

Pay attention, BIT, this is how it is done.

Oregon played like champions last night and Marriota played like a Heisman trophy winner.

Congratulations to Oregon for a game well played and good luck in the championship.

Gracious is as gracious does.

You’re still a schmuck...
