George W. Bush turned up at children’s hospital as Santa, but the buzz was about his elf

Whether you agree with his politics or not, and despite being vilified by the left for the better part of eight years, there’s no doubting that George W. Bush is a class act.

The former president, dressed as Santa, visited the Dallas’ Children’s Medical Center recently to spread a little Christmas cheer with the young patients. And just as he does in his many activities with wounded veterans, Bush did so sans media.

I miss President Bush even though I didn’t always like his policies. Compare this selfless act, done without fanfare, to the vacationer-in-chief who only mingles with common folk when there are cameras around.

I didn’t agree with his politics all the time either, but dang it - I liked the man, unlike my feelings for the current squatter in the WH.

Bush didn’t try to destroy Conservatives while Boehner/Mcconnel/Obama are doing that which is why I do miss Bush. A class act.

For no reason, the thought and memory popped into my head yesterday of President Bush running and cycling with the (alleged) disabled vets and I remember one of 'em remarked how he didn't slack in his running but challenged his fellow vets by really running.

The same comments were made about his bicycling.

Right behind that memory was the photo's of Reagan and Bush both in real jeans dirty/sweaty clearing brush on their respective ranches.

Meanwhile, the faggot in the White House continues to defile our property and nation.

“”Bush didn’t try to destroy Conservatives while Boehner/Mcconnel/Obama are doing...”””

Perhaps, but all of Bush’s advisors were. Bush’s policies led this nation to Obama.

You could always see in pictures how President Bush focuses on people. He bends over or kneels down so that he can talk to people on their level, and he always looks straight at them.

Contrast that to Obama, who tilts his head slightly back so that he is always looking down at people, even when they are taller than he.

Bush’s body language says “We are equals”, while Obama’s body language says “I am superior to you.”

Well, Obama’s worshipers believe that he is superior to Almighty God.

Not entirely true - Obama bows for his foreign masters.

No reporters, no photo-ops, just did it for the kids, whether you liked his politics or not this is a real class act, other Presidents present and past could take lessons from him...

I know. It is highly disturbing.

Those children who sang praise songs to Obama back when he was elected created a scene better left to a movie about some dystopian society. Such activity does not belong in real life, in America.

I would say that to one up President Bush, Obama would make an appearance dressed as Jesus but he thinks that would be a step down for him.

True. And his show of subservience to foreign leaders has a strong impact on foreign relations. Our image is tarnished.

That’s because Obama has an inferiority complex, and he’s overcompensating.

Bush, while not a strong conservative, is something that is missing today. Mrs. B is a classy First Lady, not the FirstMoron we have now.

That said, I'm Bushed with the Bushes.

This picture always said it all about President Bush:

He was genuine.

Like many other people, I disagreed with him on a wide variety of issues, but he didn't hate this country and try to destroy it, and was, for the most part, a stand-up guy for our interests. Then you get the idiots, even on here who say "We got Obama because of Bush".

Screw them.
