In the month of December alcohol consumption increases as many people celebrate the festive season. But how does your drinking measure up to the average from countries around the world? Find out below if you are similar to a boozy Belarusian or a teetotal Kuwaiti.

Nearly all of Kuwait's inhabitants also abstain - selling or drinking alcohol is illegal in the country. Kuwait is the lightest-drinking country in the world.

Maybe not a Utahan, but exactly like a Bhutan native, exactly the same percentile as Jordan. But in Bhutan, I drink like the worst party girl on the block:
"You are on course to drink about 0.5 litres of pure alcohol over the year, which is 57% less than the average for men in Bhutan, and 420% more than the average for women."
