Seriously, THAT'S what this is all about. I will never forget the CEO of Toyota publicly saying in some financial meeting that in reality it did not make sense for a consumer to buy a Prius, but that there was demand so they were going to fill that demand.

yes...and it takes a level of stupidity to be smug about being stupid. Someone paid for a study to figure that the electricity has to be produced, transported and stored? Don’t the power utilities and battery manufacturers do that anyway?
