President and Michelle Obama personally identify with everyday experiences of racial bias in America that have underpinned recent protests across the country, they told People magazine in an interview to be released Friday.

“Barack Obama was a black man that lived on the South Side of Chicago, who had his share of troubles catching cabs,” Michelle Obama told the magazine.

On one occasion, she said, her husband “was wearing a tuxedo at a black-tie dinner, and somebody asked him to get coffee.”

President Obama said he’s even been mistakenly treated as a valet.

“There’s no black male my age, who’s a professional, who hasn’t come out of a restaurant and is waiting for their car and somebody didn’t hand them their car keys,” he said, according to excerpts of the interview released today. …

Boo Hoo!

Because of your lousy stinking economy for the last six years most people can not afford to eat at a restaurant that has valets.

Same for me @ HD even with my name and company logo on my shirt. Helped countless ppl round up the proper item to repair their plumbing on a DIY project. But did hand a business card to them if they needed professional help. I really didn’t mind. Kinda what’s wrong with the Country. Helping others is not a detriment. Sorry the Prez cannot be bothered to show a little compassion to his fellow man without attaching the Race Card! Money is not always the catalyst to goodwill!

What's wrong with being the help?

It is actually a responsible position with many dependent upon your skills and productivity.

Not every one is the king! Although I do recall that clap trap being peddled to the gullible negroes in the 70's. 4 decades of being told they were royalty, and we wonder where the tude came from!

Fair enough. I’m honest enough to say where I am. Perhaps I will change over time. I changed to get *here*, didn’t I?

Still, you can not deny that for every message like mine, there are 100,000 or a 1,000,000 that think it, feel it, but will not vocalize it.

Race relations have deteriorated greatly under Obama and Holder, and it is not an accident. It is on-purpose.

It is racist to presume that a black person has a job.

Everyone is judged by stereotype. I have been, many many times. People who have not known me for more than a couple of decades still say to me, “YOU _____________?” Fill in the blank. We all have a tendency (1) to stereotype by appearances and (2) look down on others every chance we get.

Stupid mistake. Anyone paying attention would realize Zero is not qualified to be a valet. Way above his pay grade.

Did he add that to his long list of grievances against him during his entire life?

One time I was mistaken for a local high school student, when I was in a small town. Boy, I’m still fried about that. Another time somebody said something rude to me - surely because I am Norwegian - and I took offense. It’s on my whine-list too. I surely would’t make a public statement about this. In fact, one time someone mistook me for a waitress! Boy, it torqued me for life.

What a wussssss.

No, not everyone is judged by stereotype. Liberals do have a tendency to do just that, though.

Well, didn’t Bill Clinton say something about Obama like “a few years ago this guy would have been getting us coffee?”

I’ve been asked to get stuff off shelves because I’m tall.
Short people ask anyone around for help.

I’ve been approached at a shoe store by a black woman and asked, “Do you work here?”

I didn’t take it as a racist insult. I said, “No” and pointed to a store worker.

Why are hurt feelings such a big deal to lefties?

And it’s always the hurt feelings of certain groups. Whites, Christians, males, conservatives call all just suck it up.

Lazamatazz, that is exactly how I’ve become. I am sick to death of the racism coming from the WH, from blacks, from looters, from knock-downers, etc. Now I am very wary about blacks, especially black males. SO???

Al Sharpton spends a great deal of time visiting the WH ... he's serves as an advisor/consultant to BHO. This horrible excuse for a President has done more to set back race relations than any of his presidential predecessors going back 100 years.

Hurt feelings define the left. Gives them an excuse to lash out and bully, once they have enough power to do so.

Marx opened the Communist Manifesto’s first chapter with the statement, “The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles”—deliberately intended to inflame hurt feelings.
