President and Michelle Obama personally identify with everyday experiences of racial bias in America that have underpinned recent protests across the country, they told People magazine in an interview to be released Friday.
“Barack Obama was a black man that lived on the South Side of Chicago, who had his share of troubles catching cabs,” Michelle Obama told the magazine.
On one occasion, she said, her husband “was wearing a tuxedo at a black-tie dinner, and somebody asked him to get coffee.”
President Obama said he’s even been mistakenly treated as a valet.
“There’s no black male my age, who’s a professional, who hasn’t come out of a restaurant and is waiting for their car and somebody didn’t hand them their car keys,” he said, according to excerpts of the interview released today. …

We’ve Been Treated Like the Help...
So have I and it depends on how you dress and where you’re at. Based on the way moochelle dresses it would be expected.
Had a friend of mine who was getting married at the Williamsburg Inn in VA. Very formal,suits & ties even for the dinner etc and this was around Christmas. His Mother-in-Law to be was dressed in a long formal gown. She came out of the rest room upset because another woman told her the paper towels needed to be filled... shxt happens. Nothing racists just ignorant people.

Conversely, I have been known to ask customers who I KNOW are customers for their opinion about things. They are living, breathing, and standing near me. Why not? And I give no thought to their race.

Previous to the Obama administration, I was pretty ambivalent about race. You could be any race, I wouldn’t care, I would look to your character.
Then I discovered that other races, especially black people, HATE white folk. BEAT white folk for NO reason. Would KILL white folk in a minute if they could. Cursed white folk. Acted in an entirely racist fashion.
Then our President and Attorney General doubled down. Told them to stay the course. Sought to polarize us further. Failed to prosecute crimes strictly because of the race of the suspects. Inflamed every racial event.
Over the years, this has caused me to go from ambivalent about race, to extremely cautious and downright negative about race. If you are a person not of my ethnic group, now , you start with one strike against you before you even start. You now have to go the extra mile to prove yourself to me.
And my change in attitude is strictly because of Obama, Holder, and the behaviors I have seen in the non-white community.
If you don’t like the way your being treated, Zero and Moose-butt, the door is OPEN and you can leave ASAP....we won’t stop you!!!!
ANYONE who approaches 0 with ANYTHING in their hands is going to get shot by his security detail.

You know, something like that has probably happened to all of us! I’ve been at Target wearing a red shirt and someone asks me for help.
I’ve been at a clothing store while I’m wearing a tie and someone asks me for help, and I just laugh and say “sorry, I don’t work here.”

No, you didn’t discover that. Blacks are not monolithic in hatred of whites any more than leftists of all races try to paint whites as monolithic in hatred of blacks. If you want to fall for leftist propaganda, it’s your fall to take.
I refuse to allow the left to make me either negative or even ambivalent on race. I’m always positive when it comes to that, especially because of my religious beliefs.
