Spotted this while chasing another link. Seems I've seen one of these before, but not as a cased piece. Many detailed pictures, worth a peek but texts are in Russian. Interesting...

I remember those! Had a sixgun that fired those little grey bullets, imagine selling those now! It’d drive the left nuts! Saw a windup Mattel machine pistol like the one I had at a gun show, it was so small—but back in the day so was I. Kinda wanted it out of nostalgia, it was beat up but worked, however, the guy wanted $50! Not today...

Yep, the Germans didn’t build junk, and there’s more than one of those buckles out there, so it’s not a one-off. It’s for shooting someone right in front of you. Gut shot with a popgun. How uncouth! I would say it sounds like something a dem0crat would pull...

Yep, the little gray bullets and "Greenie stick'em caps."

I don't know what the prices are like today. I would've passed on $50 too.

German belts were good war trophies. Hemingway wore one ;til the end of his days.

True, but I think they were probably taken off dead Germans. You want your living prisoner shuffling around with his pants hanging off, or keeping pace?

If a German POW had a belt I wanted, he could spend the rest of the war with a piece of twine around his waist, or holding his pants up with his hands. I’d have taken them to keep them from being used to garrotte guards, or, Heaven forbid, the Hun bastid from hanging himself.

Modern reproduction, only differences are having a serial number and the barrel is rifled. (Original smoothbore) Changes just to make it legal.
