Boehner Drops 1,603-Page Omnibus Spending Bill, Securing Future of Obama's Amnesty
Breitbart ^ | 12-10-2014 | Matthew Boyle

Election results in November that emboldened the House Republican majority and delivered the U.S. Senate majority to the GOP be damned, House Speaker John Boehner is desperately turning to the Democrats to pass his omnibus bill that enables President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty.

The full bill, the text of which was publicly introduced at about 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday after congressional leaders missed several self-set deadlines throughout the day, is 1,603 pages long. That means it will be impossible for any member of the House or Senate to read the entire bill before voting on it this week.

Then why does the CR need to be passed by Thursday?

No, Obamacare matters. Nothing should be funded until DHS and H&HS are taken OUT, along with the EPA and DACA. This congress should not do the funding job of the next congress.

You might be ok with approving the abortion under Obamacare. Conservatives aren't.

Some of us are capable of multi-tasking. All those issues are hot and will cost your liberal republicans their jobs eventually.

I will keep bringing it up.

I will always vote republican against the commie dems

That's the reason we're in the shape we are in today.

How about voting for conservatives instead of just republicans? Some republicans are conservative.

Okay, then fund DHS, H&HS, the EPA and DACA, or perhaps the whole governent, until January 31st and let the new Congress deal with them.

That approach is not controversial. Why would the House leadership not agree to that? Because they want to give Obama everything he wants.

Why fund it through January? They are insisting on a CR THIS WEEK.

What happens if they don't get it?

The NSA is busy digging up dirt on CongressCritters for the purpose of blackmailing them so the King can get his way. It’s a known fact many 3 letter agencies spy on Congress, so what’s the mystery here?

Don't forget Hillary and the 900 FBI files...shared with the DNC on a LAN from the White House...

They have been compromised for a long time.

You are very disingenuous. You want funding through January.

I'm ok with NO funding until the new congress gets sworn in.

I don't take council of my fears.

The end game is defunding Obamacare and Amnesty and all the other liberal crap.

This is a proposed budget until next September. Boehner wants to safeguard the Obama agenda before the new Congress arrives in January. I’m not allowed to call him what I want to; but he is a disgusting pile of ordure. If he is elected Speaker in January, it will be a betrayal of the ages by Republicans.

The ballot box is a Jedi mind game. Politicians view the public/voters as employees. Aren’t you glad you get to vote to decide who will be your boss? Sonme countries don’t get to choose the boss.

I will always vote republican against the commie dems but Boehner is a sell out to the moneyed interests.

What an insulting statement. Always? It is people like you that are responsible for the destruction of our Republic.

Let's pretend it's election time 2016 and you are in Boehner's district. Logic says that we should keep the House even if Boehner is voted out.

Any rational person that loves our Republic would know that voting for the RAT over Boehner is a wise move -- it would truly get rid of Boehner. According to your reasoning Beohner is better than any RAT.

It is disgusting to hear people say the will always vote GOP over any RAT -- that is a non-thinking position.

Boehner is treasonous.

Beohner is indeed comitting Treason against our Constitution. Unfortunately, he will never get the justice he deserves.

Beohner is willfully taking direct action that will utterly destroy our Republic.

Boehner is an extremely evil human being.

Funding runs out in two days, Thursday. They need a short-term CR to fund until a longer-term CR kicks in. Once that bill passes the House, it must go to the Senate and then to the President's desk. So a short-term "48-hour" CR is needed.

Now, under your scenario, there would be no funding until next September. The short-term CR would go from 48 hours to a couple of weeks after the new Congress sits. That would be in the first couple of weeks of February, lets say Thursday, February 12th, two months from now. How does that sound?

My earlier observation was that Boehner's funding of DHS to February 27th was getting to be a decently tight date. That's only about five weeks after the next Congress sits. If Boehner could move that date up only a couple of weeks to, say, February 12th, then conservatives will have reason to be satisfied for now, but only on immigration.

Your approach, however, would be much simpler: one bill with funding to February 12th for the entire government.

I sat out the last election (first time ever). The onus is on the GOP to give me a good reason to ever vote again. I'm thinking that Mark Levin has the right idea with The Liberty Amendments , but it's a long shot and time isn't on our side.

Hey, johnny — what are the odds that not a single Republican congress critter will have the cojones to object to the Speaker’s standard practice of requesting ‘unanimous consent’ to skip the reading of the bill (twice, right)? If one single person in that stinking pit of sub-humanity forced the House to follow the rules, we wouldn’t have to worry about a vote on this piece of sludge for what, weeks?

Oh, well, I’m probably wrong about the process anyway — it’s not like I care enough about the liars to take a real interest in how they go about their business. (Actually, I just keep hoping that the alien spaceship from Independence Day zaps the Capitol right after it gets the White House...)
(sigh)

Print this questionaire up and circulate it send it to your your US Senator

Your US Senator ought to know how you feel about these issues...Please encircle which and mail in.

Dear Senator (insert name)
Bills are not being read and billion$ and trillion$ of dollars in legislation called omnibus bills get passed. Fundings then get shoveled into agencies with the results being government intrusion as well as its employees that grow into our lives regulating US how we; eat, sleep, pray, get married , and think.

Should Senator (insert name) vote no on such bills if congress doesn’t do it’s job and consider (read) what it’s passing? (Yes) or (NO) ? If he votes no the socialists will scream.

Will you still support him? (Y) (N) (Maybe). Should Obama care be (fixed) or (dumped) And if he votes to fix it will you support him for another term (YES) or (NO)

EPA...This agency is out of control INS....Immigration out of control IRS...Out of Control

The people who head these agencies get approved by the senate and swear an oath to support the constitution not the executive branch or the president. Should he support Senate hearings ? investigating their funding and operation (Y)(N)
If found guilty should he or she support ( censure) (impeachment) (defunding)
Place return address sticker here date ___________ Respectfully signature below

Keep thinking like that, and you’ll convince (if you haven’t already) yourself the only possible solution resides outside of DC, with the states.

Define amnesty. If they get to stay, get work permits, legitimate SSNs, benefits from the US government, bring in family members; it is not only amnesty, but amnesty plus.
