Formerly the "Fans of Quinn and Rose Discussion" thread, our group been meeting here since 2008. We still hold out hope that our favorite talk show hosts will come back on the air but, whether they do or not, our friendly group will still meet to start the day. So if you are preparing to go to work, are getting home from work - or happily retired - stop in and say mornin' and share the latest news, discuss the weather, share a recipe, or whatever!

GRUBER will be telling GRUBERS before Congress today...will it Change(tm) anything? NO! Will he lose some govt contracts (maybe in some states). Will his appearance bring down ObamaCare?!? I know, I know...I crack myself up too!

-—well it finally appears that the PARTY is over!!!NO ONE SHOWS up anymore. It’s no wonder-—Q fell off the map! Why doesn’t he have the nads to say it is OVER!! I am so sick of trying to listen to our favorite talkers on a radio station in Frostburg. Supposedly we are going to Mars-—heck, we can’t listen to a radio station more than 50 miles away!! oh well -—all things must come to an end!!!!

Quinn is battling via Twitter these days. He’s still sharp, just not as visible.
Good !! ..But , he is battleing on the wrong format !
We need his voice online, and on the radio where he can reach millions,
rather than one small battle at a time !

I’ve been saying for a long time that they need to do a “podcast” via their website - at least for now & push it out to iTunes or something.
At the very least a podcast would be helpful. It could be weekly and his voice would be heard. Or something like talkshoe...... there are possibilities.

I can’t post in the mornings for a few days but everything else is as usual. Sure no Q&R but their spirit is here and there is LOTS to do if The Republic is to be saved!
Don’t forget this is a busy time for everyone as well. It’s groups like this one that will make the difference. We must stick together.

Gov.-elect Tom Wolf says he plans to live at his home in Mount York, about 20 miles south of Harrisburg, while he serves as governor, and only use the governor’s mansion for official business and ceremonial functions.
Wolf has a security detail, and he plans to cover the cost of the officers protecting him in Mount Wolf by renting a place across the street at fair market value.
Right after the election, Wolf said he considers himself a “citizen-politician” but that he also wants to become “a part of Harrisburg.”

FWIW Here’s what I answered.
This is just a fake-populist move on his part - not living at the mansion doesn’t save the state any money.
Might be able to check in later. Depends on if I take mrs p6 to work or she drives.
