Demonstrators incensed by the grand jury verdict that cleared the white police officer who killed African-American teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, took to the streets of 170 cities in 37 U.S. states for a second night of protests.
Protesters swept through the streets of New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington, D.C., where they shouted “Justice” in front of the White House.
Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia, Oakland and Seattle had some of the largest protests, which, according to police, were mainly peaceful except for a few isolated incidents and arrests.
Large cities across the United States have been on alert for possible disturbances since Monday night, when the grand jury ruled out filing charges against Officer Darren Wilson on the grounds that there was not enough evidence to indict him.
The 28-year-old Wilson fired several shots at the 18-year-old unarmed Brown on Aug. 9.
The shooting sparked a wave of riots, looting and destruction, with businesses being torched, while protesters blocked roads and bridges in major U.S. cities.
More than 2,000 National Guard troops were deployed in Ferguson, where 80 people were arrested on Monday for looting and setting fire to vehicles and shops.
Atlanta police reported that 21 arrests were made on Monday. A few more individuals were taken into custody in New York’s iconic Times Square when they allegedly hurled paint and other objects at police.
Demonstrators carried placards with slogans such as “Do not shoot” and “Police Brutality Must Stop.”
“No justice, no peace,” a 19-year-old protester told Efe, while another 25-year-old said he did not know Brown personally, but he was sure that he was a good man.

Article states as fact “the officer repeatedly shot Brown as he raised his arms in surrender.”. Not a word that this was contradicted anywhere.

The website from my local newspaper had photos of a few protests in a city or two. Sparsely attended but enough to inconvenience some drivers. And this is in Moonbat Land.
They were not spontaneous. The preprinted signs are a dead giveaway.
They’ll lose interest soon, as the media moves on to the next big thing.
That might fit on a bumper sticker.

People won't let this ruin their holiday although if you engage them on the subject you are likely to get an earful.
I noticed that Monday night in Ferguson, something was missing that was on the streets in the earlier “protests”.
There's something abiout this situation that doesn't ring true to people (even liberals have minimum standards). Even if people don't know exactly what it is, they know it all feels wrong or scripted or phony. IMO
A couple hundred University of Michigan students went to the Ann Arbor city hall and pouted for a couple of hours last night but I haven’t been inconvenienced in the least.
If you recall, they said they were going to white neighborhoods this time. So far no dice. Apparently their liberal organizers don’t want them in their neighborhoods.

Lots and lots of burning righteous outrage.
Two points to demonstrate that Wilson made the right decision. 1- The riots confirm to police that the black society today is inclined to violence. 2 - Black society almost to the person did not defend the police. They still have centuries to go before they completely grasp civilization.
Remember - there’s only 30 days of looting till Christmas!
Exactly. How many of these “protests” could fit in a phone booth? I’d bet that two thirds of them are just some hippy loon walking around with a misspelled sign.
Have they no shame? Nope. Never mind.
