Formerly the "Fans of Quinn and Rose Discussion" thread, our group been meeting here since 2008. We still hold out hope that our favorite talk show hosts will come back on the air but, whether they do or not, our friendly group will still meet to start the day. So if you are preparing to go to work, are getting home from work - or happily retired - stop in and say mornin' and share the latest news, discuss the weather, share a recipe, or whatever!

Yes, have lots of fun at son’s wedding! By the time the last one gets married, it will be old hat for you! lol! Be careful driving! And, like prisoner6 said - post pictures!

We had a few hundred in Atlanta shutting down one of the exxpressways. I wonder, if I gathered a hundred or so people and stood in the middle of the expressway if we would be arrested? The police just tried to herd them along into a lane or two under the guise of free speech. I wonder how free my speech would be if I tried the same trick under the banner of standing with Officer Wilson and the GJ decision?

Sure is windy here and rainy...20 mph with higher gusts...sounds like snow will not be as bad as they thought..PAmom be careful..still gonna hit the hottub!!!

Going to SIL’s today and entire family getting together! Only two libs in the bunch. Last year was interesting with those two there. This year should be VERY interesting, given the Gruber thing and Ferguson!

Just got back from Thanksgiving feast number 1 in Monroeville. Snowing a bit more vigorously now but doesn’t look too bad so far.
Just got back from our first at daughter’s house. Her husband did a turkey in the electric fryer and daughter and mrs p6 did one in the oven. 12+ people and most ate only the deep fried bird.
Only thing on TV was kids stuff fom Pixar...while they ran around screaming. Luckily we didn’t get too deep in conversation, especially about radio, but the crowd would not ever listen to talk. I was an oldies and NPR group.
Obviously I was not a good fit, never am.
Home for an hour then off to son’s house for second dinner.
Sounds like you’re eating well, at least. Dinner conversations are awkward where politics are concerned.
I’m in line at Walmart now waiting for a laptop. Crazy, I know. LOL!
Two dinners! Heck, one was enough for me! SIL made TWO HUGE TURKEYS - on in the oven in an oven cooking bag and the other in an electric roaster. We had about 20 people there. Most of both birds went!
RWI, I avoid Walmart like the plague on Thanksgiving night. Tried it two years ago and swore I’d never do it again. Mr sneakers and I are going out tomorrow though, then SIL and DIL and I are going out on Saturday.
Oh, I forgot to mention:
Son and DIL announced tonight that we are going to be grandparents again! Woohoo!! Baby to be born in July! Our granddaughter will be 15 months old when her little brother/sister is born!

And Sneaks...oh boy oh boy (or girl or girl!). CONGRATS on your good news on GRANDBABY number 2! Daughter (who is a Bridesmaid in her brothers wedding) is ALSO expecting baby 2.0 She is ALSO due in July (the 20th)...first Grandbaby came on my 30th wedding anniversary, this one maybe my birthday :). Maybe we will cross paths in waiting room?!? daughter goes to West Penn:)
AND...driving down 22 tonight...afterdinner at daughter in laws family house! (awful squall line around Cresson Ebensburg...22 WAS terrible and PennDOT was salting!) we passed the Indiana WalMart...cars backed up at the light turning into the PACKED Parking lot (around 7:30ish)
Yinz all enjoy your turkey leftovers we, for the 1st time EVER have no leftovers here. Eating machine youngest 2 sons (who had heaping 2nds at the dinner) had us STOP AT SHEETZ for sammies on way home.

OMG OMG! Are you series???? You’re daughter is also having baby #2?? LOL! That is so cool!! Our 2nd will be born at Indiana Regional Medical Center here in Indiana.
