Until they stop believing they are victims they will continue to think Society owes them something. It doesn’t, which dooms them to a Fate of their own choosing.

- Manfred Mann’s Earth Band
Actually Bruce Springsteen wrote that.
Blacks are depressed and angry ‘at other blacks’ who work their way out of the ghetto and rid themselves of the 50 year old mindset that is passed to their children and their children’s children...etc.etc.
Where’s Hollywood blacks now who should be speaking out against the violence in Ferguson????
“Actually Bruce Springsteen wrote that.”
Thanks, I didn’t know that... Not a Springsteen fan, but I like Manfred Mann.
Those lyrics are incomprehensible when sung.
Sort of like this:
“Excuse me while I kiss this guy.”
- Jimi Hendrix
It was really hillarious to read all of the celebrity idiot tweets on all this.
Blacks are oppressed by the Liberal Democrats that they keep voting for
“Wheres Hollywood blacks now who should be speaking out against the violence in Ferguson????”
Most are just actors waiting to read from a new liberal left script. They are rich liberals who only read the lines of political correctness given them by their masters.
There are a few exceptions like Clint Eastwood’s rendition on Obama’s Empty Chair or Chris Rock’s “How to Get Your A$$ Kicked by the Police”, but for the most part it’s an extension of their professional image to deliver a message and convince the public they are creditable.
What I want to hear is the response from the comedians. If it were not for political correctness and courtesy, it would be open season on many political figures and other sensitive issues of today. I can’t wait to hear from their Chris Rock’s and other comedians response to Ferguson.
Blacks are oppressed and there is more racisim than most people think.
Many people privately have a low opinion of blacks as a group, yet never publicly admit this.
The question is whether this low opinion is a deserved one?
The current rioting, looting and property destruction certainly helps continue or grow this low opinion.
I have a low opinion of the subculture. But you get to choose which subculture you subscribe to. Most blacks don’t subscribe to it, but you’d never know that from the media, they want you to think that all blacks are like that.
Groupthink is rampant in Hollywood. The White Gay Liberals who run Hollywood don’t like anyone to stray from the Party Line, that is if you ever want to work in that town again.
Most blacks are decent folks, but just enough of them give the rest a bad public persona. This is a black issue that blacks need to work on.
Not to mention the millions of black children who never made is past the Planned Parenthood clinic.
“Excuse me while I kiss this guy.
I remember when black and white musicians used to share our common love - music.
Growing up, we were brothers bound by the love of music. No affirmative action, white privilege, or racism toward one another except in jest. Just skill and talent earned respect and admiration. It was a good time back then.
While I loved Jimi Hendrix for his showmanship and unique musicianship, I could hardly kiss the guy.
I think we all heard a different word there for "deuce".
The main group oppressing blacks is the group of white liberals who achieve their own sense of self-righteousness by “helping” them.
If there were no incentive to having children out of wedlock, women would be more choosy about whom they had sex with, and consequently, men would have to step up and be respectable “marriage material” in order to have access to sex.
That would solve nearly 100% of their problems.
You’re not telling me that it’s not:
