Instead of announcing the decision in one fell swoop, they should release as a report in multiple parts, each part being released one at a time over a period of days, to soften the end result. For example, Part 1: We took testimony of these witnesses, and determined that Michael Brown and his buddy stole cigars, beat up the clerk and were walking down the street to give them to a friend to make blunts, when Officer Wilson first made contact with them.
Part 2 released next day: We determined that Michael Brown did reach into the cop car, hit officer Wilson, gave him a black eye, and they struggled for the gun. Witnesses and evidence to this include......
And so on, until the decision is a foregone conclusion. Tie it up in a nice, neat bow before you ever get to the final decision. Then, when the evidence is summarized and it is obvious the gentle giant was in the midst of charging the officer he had just beaten up, and that there are multiple black and white witnesses to that, issue the decision: Officer Wilson was justified in using deadly force and there is no basis to charge him with a crime.
They might still try to get the energy to riot, but it would take a lot of steam out of their sails.

Interesting. . .all this worry about riots and violence if a ‘no bill’ is the result. . .BUT no worry about riots and violence if there is a ‘true bill.’
So, Holder’s people are EXPECTED to act like animals (just can’t help themselves, uncivilized, you know), whereas everyone else is expected to control their emotions and act like humans and be civilized.

If he’s indicted it should be the whites out in force screaming UNjustice!
To: EEGator
That’s a great idea! White folks in the streets celebrating a non-indictment!

Listening to the Ray Coniff singers singing Beatles songs was a riot.

Well, the FOX headline is there is no indictment of Officer Wilson. So, I was correct in the earlier post.

Lengthy, but excellent explanation of the investigation.
