And in the latest allegation, an NBC television veteran who described himself as Cosby’s “fixer” with the network described how young women from a modelling agency were sent to the star’s dressing room.
Frank Scotti told the New York Daily News that he helped Cosby funnel thousands of dollars to the women and would stand guard outside the door during The Cosby Show’s run from 1984-92.
He claimed that Cosby would house those of whom he was particularly fond in apartments and give them up to $2,000 per month.
Most aspired to a career in the entertainment industry and were either too fearful or intimidated to tell their stories, convinced they would not be believed if they did come forward with accusations against a man with an apparently untouchable standing.
They were young women like Joan Tarshis, who was aged 19 and starting out as a comedy writer when she met Cosby on set in Los Angeles 1969. He gave her the nickname Midget – she was 5'3'' - and invited her to his bungalow to discuss a new writing project. There she passed out after he wooed her with drinks, apparently spiked, and when she came round, he sexually assaulted her on the sofa.
In an interview with The Telegraph, she explained the sense of powerlessness and intimidation that kept her quiet for decades. "I just felt that I was a little girl whose word no one would ever believe against one of the nation's most popular performers," said Ms Tarshis, who later worked as a publicist for Bob Marley.

At a minimum, we know Mr. Family Values is an adulterer who paid off at least one love-child to keep her quiet.
Yeah, but Cosby wasn’t POTUS.
Why weren’t the crimes reported at the time these crimes occurred. That is my gripe. Otherwise if Cosby is guilty and real proof is forthcoming, I hope he gets what he deserves. But if payoff and so on were accepted at the time of the crime, to me there was no crime.
I feel sad for these women. I hope they can get justice somehow and some peace so they can get on with their lives.

Well, one of the questions that came to my mind was - Since many of these accusers were in their teens when it happened, WHERE WERE THEIR PARENTS?
Why did they allow these kids to be alone in a room with this man?
I wonder how many parents of child stars do not want to know, as long as the gravy keeps flowing.
