I Warned You About Bill Cosby in 2007 The public may be waking up to the mountain of rape allegations now, but women were coming forward years ago to warn the Jell-O Man was not so sweet.
In 2007—seven years before she publicly came forward—I spoke with Joan Tarshis, a former Hollywood publicist who claimed that Bill Cosby raped her. After our talk—and, of course, much more research—I filed a version of the following story on my website Hollywood, Interrupted. It identified a number of women who claimed that Bill Cosby had raped them. (The story has been updated slightly to reflect the allegations of the past few weeks, including Tarshis’s choice to drop the pseudonym she had elected to use in prior years.)
In my interviews with several of the women back then, I found the tale they told disturbingly similar: All were young and impressionable, beautiful, and talented. Cosby had taken a keen interest in their careers, and had offered to mentor them or otherwise open the fabled doors to the glistening kingdom of show business, for which he was a principal emissary.
All were given spiked drinks—or drugs misrepresented as medicine—and became incapacitated, the women charged. And all allegedly awoke with the unshakable sense that something wrong had occurred.
People magazine even ran an article on the lawsuits that were settled with several of the women, but never followed up on it. And from my own experience, I can confirm that the story shook people to the core: Even more than Woody Allen, Bill Cosby was a beloved figure and civil-rights pioneer; hardened editors were horrified at the prospect of taking him down. I might as well have pitched a story about Martin Luther King, Jr. philandering with white women. The story went nowhere.

I believe the accusers.
A huge segment of the black community is angry at Cosby for his criticisms of the black underclass and ghetto mentally. Beavuse Cos came from a poor family and made it big. So he is critical
But this has nothing to do with these 17 white women and few black ones coming forward. The allegations have been out there for years. They just happened to reach critical mass and it has nothing to with Fergusen or anything else.
I mean .... is Al Sharpton out there contacting these white woman? Laughable of course. The ladies are coming forth for revenge at what Cosby did to them. There is no money in it for them

I am sure she fell back on her network of feminist and lesbian friends who egged he on to go after Cosby. She won the first lawsuit...actually got settled pretrial.... in 2006. She got money from Cosby. He drugged her but was not able to rape her
There is a rumor about someone on the Cosby Show who is thinking about coming forward.
My guess is it is Lisa Bonet.
He got a standing ovation at his Florida show last night. I must admit, his standup act is great. No curtain call, though, which I always found vaguely hostile.

Utter crap! It’s called ‘perversion’,’deviance’. “Pathfinders” merely have the ability to follow the sick muse and get away with indulging it for much longer periods of time than joe sispack does.
Wonder where he got the drugs.
The show went ahead despite the cancellation of Cosby's Las Vegas performance next week and four other shows in Arizona, Illinois, South Carolina and Washington state next year. With NBC and Netflix also dropping projects with the comedian this week, the allegations have threatened Cosby's wholesome public image and future viability in show business.
One can’t warn the American people about much of anything. It’s full throttle liberalism for them though some did take a day off from the most extreme form on November 4, 2014.

Woody never adopted her. He wasn’t married to Mia Farrow, nor lived with her. There is evidence that she is nuts and that she coached her other child to say Woody molested her. He may be a detestable liberal, but he gets a bad rap.
JJ had a long adulterous affair with a leftwing lawyer who was also on FOX frequently. She’s also been on Hannity’s radio program quite a bit - a typical looney leftist.
Can’t recall her name but her face in vividly in my memory.
Some of these accusers say this happened to them multiple times. I think all of them benefited in some way from the association and that’s why they kept putting up with it. Now, I do not want to be mean, but that starts sounding a little more like prostitution than it does rape. If true.

I did not believe the accusations at first, but the more that comes out the guiltier he seems. He reminds me a lot of Bill Clinton and his accusers.
But didn’t Bill Clinton tell us that we should shut up when it comes to a public figure’s private life?
NOW didn’t seem too upset about the sexual predations of a president. So why should we care about an entertainer?

I saw him in the 1970s. The only comedian I have ever paid to see live. Very funny and I laughed and laughed that night. After his 1980s tv show which I found to be a bit bland I stopped paying much attention to him, I would occasionally see him on some talk show and he could still be funny but that was about it for me. Since this scandal has arisen in the 2000s and his political statements about 0 and conservatives he is now relegated to the usual suspects of the Hollywood left. His stuff about the black community seems like common sense to me and not much else.
Well, if it were released there are tapes of MLK doing the act and beating them that have been sequestered by Congress until 2050. That's more than what is on Cosby, her word against his.
The one account I read had an accuser who kept the relationship going for FOUR YEARS. She traveled around the country, repeatedly meeting Cosby at night in his hotel. 30 years later, she has decided he raped her. That must sound better to her than, “I was a whore”.
