Formerly the "Fans of Quinn and Rose Discussion" thread, our group been meeting here for six years. We still hold out hope that our favorite talk show hosts will come back on the air but, whether they do or not, our friendly group will still meet to start the day. So if you are preparing to go to work, are getting home from work - or happily retired - stop in and say mornin' and share the latest news, discuss the weather, share a recipe, or whatever!

Global COOLING, a mini ice age. Sun is less active, it ALL ties together, but COAL! SUVs! CARBON TAX! As Jonah Goldberg NAILED IT...the Global Warming scientists are a pack of GRUBERS!

Yesterday or today....I still wonder why they don’t use their webpage to podcast (with so much going on in the Country).
Morning! November 14th was their last day on the air. The 15th it was a ‘best of’ show and then on the 18th, we got ‘bloomdaddy’. I looked up the thread. What a dire day!
I just recalled the 18th as the date in my mind that they were taken off the air. There was suspicion back on the Friday with the oddly unannounced Best Of and that Monday, well....
I’ll have to remember, the day BEFORE my son’s BDAY.
How is Mr S doing? You said you were still hacking, how is his cold & knee (this getting older thing is NO fun!)

Mr S has an appt, with the heart doc, to determine if he should have the knee replacement done. Frankly, the idea of him having that surgery, given his congestive heart failure, makes me very uneasy, to say the least. He goes in today to have knee brace. He is in the midst of this cold, though he started taking something for it early on whereas I did not. He is no hacking as much, must still congested. I have the last of it hanging on. Not too bad though.
Yep, this aging thing is getting old! Oh well, consider the alternative! lol!
