Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will continue to meet in our usual spot as we always have! So grab your coffee - or whatever you choose to start your day - and drop in for some political chit-chat, or just to shoot the breeze! We are all coming from - or going to - work, so stop in to say hi! Feel free to join us!
Morning!!!
Don’t forget to vote today!
Don’t forget to support Free Republic!
Mornin’ everybuddy!
I already voted.....
Morning AM! I’ll vote tonight after work.
The new episode of “The Curse of Oak Island” is on tonight. It will be a distraction from the elections.
Election Day: What’s at Stake
http://www.frontpagemag.com/2014/bruce-thornton/election-day-whats-at-stake/
There will be many reasons to celebrate today, but those of us in Pa are set to elect a rabid lib as governor. I’m sick over that. OTOH, maybe the “Pennsyltucky” part of Pa will carry the day and we’ll re-elect Corbett. Maybe the libs in Philly will stay home. Their guy, Barry, was in Philly stumping for Wolf and only 1/4 of the stadium filled. That’s a hopeful sign.
Good morning!
Hopefully this will be a good day but I’m not holding my breath.
So tonight is the new Oak Island. I saw a promo weeks ago and thought I missed it.
Sabato says Rpublicans get 8 senate seats. Sabato...I don’t know whether to believe him or Crazy Joe Biden.
Good morning n’@!
Sneaks...I sure hope you are right about Pennsyltucky...Wolf is a disaster in the making....I just hope the Curse of Barry continues and philly tanks for wolf (small crowd for Dear Leader on a Sunday, at Temple University...it’s been spun many ways, but THAT venue in THAT neighborhood should have been full!!!
I have to watch Oak Island (I sorta know the story). Sounds like something I would like:) tonight tho, is a Hockey Night in Pittsburgh so I’ll be watching the Guins...
YINZ ALL Vote early and often n’@!
I’m at work, and my way, I stopped at my tiny, podunk volunteer fire hall and cast my ballot. I was number 124! I waited in line (for about 3 minutes...w/people lining up behind me). We only have two screens/voting stations but the nice older ladies mentioned it has been steady and they hole to break their 2012 Presidential vote record. My township is SOLID red.
Just got back from the polls.
Wrote in Jim Quinn instead of not voting for U.S. rep Doyle.
Wrote in Rose Tennent instead of not voting for PA rep Costa.
Both Doyle and Costa were uncontested democrats, PA 14 sucks!
Our county tends towards red and our Congressman is uncontested. Our state legislator is being challenged, but I’m pretty sure his job is safe. Corbett may well take my county - by a slim margin. I’ll be voting this afternoon after work.
