This must be the abridged version. The original was a whole side of the album. I didn’t like Kraftwerk’s “dance” period, “Numbers” gets tiresome quickly.

Hahahaha. I was into experimental music back in the early '80s. Got the record at a used record store. I liked it because my sister hated it. Last Christmas she was telling her kids, "you should have heard the stuff my brother used to torture me with, like that 'autobahn' song. Da fa fa fa off da autobahn."
I actually like it more now than I did then. They were synth pioneers. Seems pretty tame, now.

One of the Classic and first real good Rap songs “Planet Rock” sampled Trans Europe Express, and to this day is such a trendsetting electro sound that Rap in the 80s tried to keep up till the Crap rap started in the 90s. Kraftwerk are bad ass.

They really were one of the groups that deserved the ‘grounbreaking’ term. Love it or hate it, it was something we had never seen before.

Yes and people rag on Rap, but the 80s was so different. 88-90 was when the Gangsta rap started and changed the whole Genre for the bad. Even though I love NWA.. LOL

My line stops at LL Cool J and RUN-DMC. NWA I just despise for what they represent. It ruined anything they did for me even it it was ‘interesting’. Their immitators just killed any hope they may have had with me as well.

I agree, and I still love them but I hate them for what they started(NWA) that is. LL and RUN DMC were some of the most innovative at the time. Especially RUN DMC.
