I’ve heard that the sexual revolution and abortion combined, have not empowered women,,but have empowered men.

Reason being, men feel that they can push for sexual intimacy without fear of consequences anymore. With abortion available as a back up in case of birth control failure, men pressure females about sex.

Yes I know this has always gone on, but in times past, men would be afraid of getting a girl pregnant. Nobody thinks about those issues that way nowadays. No men fear a shotgun wedding is in their future if something happens.

And having seen the cultural shift in which matters of sex are thought of as physical urges rather than having any moral context, you end up with more sex, more VD, more pregnancy, more abortion, and more single mothers.
