A West Yorkshire firm is selling what it claims to be the world's first zombie proof log cabin.

Leeds-based Tiger Log Cabins is offering a 10 year anti-zombie guarantee with its ZFC-1, Zombie Fortification Cabin.

The structure consists of three connected buildings and its featured qualities add up to a personal log fortress.

It comes with reinforced slit windows, walls and doors, a barbed-wire surround, an escape hatch, and a living room with Xbox, TV and sound system.

It also features an arsenal storage unit to secure your anti-zombie weaponry and an upper deck with a full view all around so you can keep an eye out for the oncoming hordes.

There's also a toilet system, garage, kitchen area with microwave and a garden section to start a small produce farm.

The customizable 44ft x 30ft cabin starts at £69,995 for the base model. Installation costs an additional £12,995.

Available extras include security cameras, riot protection outfit, big bear water cannon, flame thrower and search lights.

"Please note - we require medical evidence of the presence of a real zombie should you wish to claim under the 10 year anti zombie guarantee," warn the makers

So good. So funny. I notice zombies sort of shamble and that means they might get caught under the treadmill and there would be a pile up. Also female zombies dress like sister wives in their long skirts. They would trip too.

Keep thinking creatively.

My place is zombie proof if I don’t run out of ammo.

Then again, I really could use some more Claymores...

That was my question. I guess their zombies don’t know how to make fire yet.

I bought some of those.

But now I use my iPhone 10 with its built-in Time Travel App.

Also helps to have a plasma and T50 power armor to hold the fort until the rest of the Brotherhood arrives with the robots.

On a side note, just in case you folks back east dont get a unit there to Scourge, you might take a moment in prayer. Can’t hurt...

That works too.

The Russians turned many nuclear subs into floating power plants. Move onto one of those (near cities, more accessible than a military one) is a long term option. Just go fishing for food. Maybe move into a fresh water estuary for water, while you have food from fishing and hunting any birds.

OK, everyone’s giving me credit for this, but it’s not mine.

I heard about it on a podcast that was imitating War of the Worlds, Zombie Edition.

Some guy called in and said he had set up treadmill generators and was powering his air conditioning units, TV, refrigerators, etc, off the zombies trying to get in his windows.

I was laughing so hard I had tears rolling down and literally had to pull over for a while.

May I ask where where that boat was when the photo was taken?

In the background, the fishboat rigging looks like West Cost squid seiner.

I'm trying to figure out which port.

Older style shrouded lights, and a power block hanging from the main boom -- and 2(!) picking booms, split towards either rail.

West Coast, I mean, West Cost, although fishing boats and the rigging can indeed cost a bundle, crude as much of it may appear.

twin picking booms, specially long ones as in the picture, are not all that common.

Across the harbor (looking towards the center left of the photo) one sailboat mast stands far taller than those nearby...and I can see the stern of what appears to be a 1930's style racing sloop -- but the mast looks like it may possibly(?) have been an overly ambitious replacement. ;^').
