Police hunt creepy clown who is terrifying Indianapolis neighbourhoods

A man dressed as a creepy clown has been unsettling residents of an American suburb as he wanders the streets scaring people.

The eerie figure has been spotted in Fishers, Indianapolis, and police say that locals should call them if they see someone dressed in a clown suit in the area.

A resident sent Fox59 a photograph of someone dressed as a clown, carrying balloons and walking around 126th Street and Olio Road.

Police said they sent an officer to the area to look for the clown, but the person had already disappeared.

And some locals have taken to Twitter to express their unease, with one writing: 'The creepy clown going around Fishers was in my aunt's neighborhood hanging out where the kids were… If you see it, please call the cops.'

They way I figure, this dude has done nothing violent, yet. He is just trying to “scare” people by being creepy. He’s getting a good laugh. So fight fire with fire. Until it’s reported that he’s done something violent get out the paintball gun. Even if it’s a near miss, he will piss his pants while running. Then you’ll be the one laughing all the way home.
