Full title: Caught on camera: Shocking moment a fed-up Baltimore teacher attacked student and slammed her into a locker yelling 'I'll kill you' after the senior hurled a book at her
A Baltimore teacher is under fire after a cellphone video emerged of her fighting a 17-year-old student, slamming the girl against a locker and threatening to kill her.
The beginning of the video, taken last Friday and obtained by local stations WBAL and WBFF, shows the girl shoving a chair in the teacher’s direction inside a classroom at Carver Vocational-Technical High in west Baltimore.
The 17-year-old senior reportedly became upset after the female teacher ordered her to stop using her cellphone during an exam.

You pick up her exam, tell her she’s failed and wait for the parents to sue. That’s the way it’s done.
Sorry, I would have shoved her head through the locker door. But that’s just me. ;-)
One of my best friends taught for maybe ten years before taking a better job.
He once told me how he came within a nanosecond of punching a student. After hearing the story, I completely understood but of course he would have been fired.
Why public schools are useless. Just a breeding ground for everything other than education.

As I high school teacher, I take every incident like that, do everything dispassionately and by the book, and let the student make a fool of themselves.
I saw better behavior at the zoo last week.

Since corporal punishment is against the law, this teacher is in big trouble, regardless of the circumstances.
I wish it weren’t so, but, the teacher is in huge legal trouble. It won’t matter what the circumstances are.
When I was in high school, you didn’t mouth off or you got slapped for your troubles.
One day, a punk decided he was going to belt one of the teachers and got the crap knocked out of him.
The teacher did not get fired or in trouble.
Good old days.
I worry about this myself. I’m one of the nice teachers, but some of these kids can make you SO mad. It’s not even how they treat me, it’s how they treat the other kids. I just get livid.

When I was in Jr. High we had a male teacher that used to slam kids up against the wall. I was told one parent complained but nothing was ever done about it. Today he’d be sued into oblivion.
In all fairness he was a jerk. He tried teaching at the local college and lost his cool there. They booted him.
I didn’t see a white person to blame in that video, so it’s all good. Maybe the school system can be sued.
No worries. All supported by local 170.
The students will learn to fight for social justice, perhaps even become community organizers.
