Strange ebola behavior
Oct. 17, 2014 | Capt. Tom

Posted on 10/17/2014 5:55:03 PM PDT by Capt. Tom

Thomas Eric Duncan, who had ebola , flew into this country from Liberia and mingled and interacted with family, friends and others.
After a few days here he got so sick from ebola, he went to the Hospital in Dallas, but was sent home because he was misdiagnosed.
About 4 more days of mingling with others while still showing the symptoms, he was so sick he went back to the Dallas hospital by ambulance.

The CDC estimates about 84 people in Dallas had contact with him one way or the other.
Additionally the people on the airplanes he flew in could be possible ebola targets. That’s a lot of people in total.
Yet the only people that came in contact with him that have come down with ebola symptoms are 2 nurses at the Dallas Hospital. ((And they supposedly wore protective gear.)

Statistically , why aren’t there more infections?? This seems strange to me. -Tom

“We haven’t heard a word about his Dallas girlfriend (whom he presumably had lots of sex.”

There is noting better than sex when you or your partner have a fever of 103 and are are projectile vomiting and uncontrollable diarrhea.

He then seems to have said, "Hmmmm. I've been exposed. I'm sure I'm going to die. I should quit my job, fly to America, and seek top medical help. Certainly I feel fine, there's no trace of any symptom, but I know I've received a death sentence."

Duncan had to have started planning his trip at least three months before he was exposed, because that's how long it take to get a visa. Unless I'm misremembering, he also bought the ticket and quit his job before being exposed.

Arguably he should have remained in Africa because he knew he might become sick, but your theory just doesn't fit the timeline.

At this point, what difference does it make?

The crux of the matter is that a potentially aggressive and potentially fatal disease is ravaging W. Africa and our masters insist that it is best treated by sending untrained NG troops into the infected zone and leaving out cities open to unfettered importation of a virus no one actually understands...What could go wrong?

CDC has directed my local hospital to hand out questionnaires, beyond that, there are three or four truly prepared medical centers in the USA & everyone else is on OJT.

It should be paramount to the administration that the risk of infection be isolated outside our borders.

You are believing what you read in the newspapers.

Do you really think that supposed girlfriend went to some fancy gated community? If she did why don’t we hear anything more from her?

Same reason why nobody has heard from that missing Malasian plane. That family is in permanent lockdown.

Duncan’s trip here was a terrorist attack. And it worked.

Could be dose-response. As others have pointed out, the nurses got exposure during max shed, with utterly inadequate PPE. The family may have been exposed to fewer particles.

Incubation with this virus is 2 days to [unknown]. At 21 days, only 95% of the cases have developed. At 42 days, 98% are accounted for. The last 2%? Not known how long it takes. Recovering males in Africa are being told to use a condom for 3 months, and I suspect even that is a guess.

If it is a dose-response deal, yeah, more shoes may drop, later. I don’t think we can expect a realistic all-clear on Duncan’s contacts until the end of the year.

I do find it odd that no one in this “gated community” has come forward.

Then take note of Ubama science czar John P Holdren and his position on depopulating the United States.

I take these ass hats seriously, when they say they want 25 to 30 million people killed off. If they could do it, the surely would. May an elephant caress them with his toes.

“Duncan’s trip here was a terrorist attack. And it worked.”

If it were a terrorist attack, why go to the hospital twice when he could have instead been out in public at the mall, a crowded bar or Cowboys’ game with 100,000 people?

There are some experts who are saying that the incubation period may be longer than 21 days. Possibly up to 40+ days.

I heard one doctor talking to a radio talk show host and he said that a person could spread the disease through bodily fluids many days before they became symptomatic. Think Middle eastern terrorist becoming infected and then having sex with as many prostitutes as possible.

That probably wouldn’t work all that well. Semen is one of the last fluids to become viral loaded and sometimes isn’t even infectious during the full-blown phase.

Their four bedroom luxury digs, compliments of the US taxpayers. Bet it is furnished with brand new stuff and loaded with food.

I believe the home was donated by someone. And I certainly do not begrudge these people food.

I’m not betting on the “lots of sex” part. Photos of Duncan arriving at the Dallas airport show a rather tired man.
The gf was flouncing around, but he was not.

I guess we’ll never know. Actually, I’d rather not.

I find it odd that no one in this “gated community” has come forward.

I also find it odd that no one in the press has been able to talk to them. Maybe they lost their cell phones? Maybe their cell phones got disabled.
