A man calls in to a radio show, claiming his future son-in-law was seated next to the vomiting man on the airliner that was recently in the news. Audio only, 5 minutes, 45 seconds.
so what did he say? I can’t listen.
If I was seated next to a vomiting African on a flight, they'd have to cuff me to my seat. I'd be back at the stewardess's fold down seat in a flash, and they'd have to drag me, sedate me, and handcuff me to sit next to a possible death sentence.
Me too! There is no chance I would put up with that.
How many of these Ebola scares before Public gatherings such as: Church, non emergency Travel and Elections are banned by Executive Order.
Is Marshall Law far behind. This like an intentional Crisis by bho.
Don’t worry. If he decides to do something about it. he’ll “let you know”.
I would not fly right now. I don’t care if one has been looking forward to a trip for a long time; I just wouldn’t do it. I have a co-worker who just flew out to a funeral across the country. I told him to be sure to pack his hazmat suit.
Vomiting man was uncooperative, and the flight attendants made him clean up his mess. Caller rattled of the seat number towards the end of his call. I found that interesting enough to post here.
Much of the call was a lament that the airline would not release any info on vomiting guy. That part, not so much interesting.
off, not of
What flight?
What airline?
At this point the rumors will be spreading far faster than the virus. With many of the same effects.
I wasn’t there. I’m not a doctor.
However, this seems much more like a heart attack, or the reaction of someone who had a condom full of coke or heroin burst inside his gut. There was no report of bleeding, of blood in the vomit, of diarrhea or red splotches all over his body (and they’d show on his face).
Obviously, with the current Ebola outbreak, people are on edge - and you betcha that I’d have needed new underwear if I was anywhere close to this guy when he was vomiting (”close” being defined as “on the plane”). But we all do need to remain reasonably calm and rational. Maybe the guy did have Ebola...but it doesn’t seem likely on the surface. Do you check? Absolutely! Do you inform all of the passengers? Yes, to avoid a panic. But let’s keep our heads.
This is the very reason to halt commercial flights and allow only charter and military flights into the Ebola zone. Lets say for argument he did have Ebola. Now, how do you decon that airliner? Yes, the puke on people is one thing, what about the seats and floor? The air handling system? The bathroom? The waste storage system and the personnel who empty it? And will it pose a risk to the treatment plant`s personnel? The list goes on.
There's no chance I'd stay seated even without Ebola.
*Martial.
He vomited everywhere? UGH!!! That’s beyond disgusting. The smell is going to linger.
