A women that flew in from Turkey arrived to Midland via Dallas is showing Ebola symptoms and is being tested, according to a friend of mine that works at the hospital. She sais they just told everyone on the plane to watch out for symptoms and sent them on their way.
I am not sure it is a good idea to post unverified information without substantiation other than “a friend told me.”
Bring Out Your Dead
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
WTF, have a nice day and go on your way? I’m hoping it’s not Obola but iits incredible if true!
Exactly correct.
I’ve read she was vomiting on the plane, had no fever and had originated in Turkey.
Not everyone who vomits has ebola.
Thanks for posting

I did specify that this is a vanity. I’m not posting as news. I thought that was OK.
Well I hope it’s not, but this whole thing is really causing a lot of trouble.
Good point, but these days such sources are probably more accurate and truthful than anything you hear from government "spokespersons".
Thanks, I didn’t see any news on it, but I only looked at Drudge.
Aw crap. Ebola at the shoot.
Thanks for enlightening me.
No fever and Turkey has no known ebola cases.

Nope
Oy!
It appears it was only suspected because of vomiting and some bystanders on the plane mentioned “ebola”.
